Ah, Yes.

Welcome.

I see that you have dared to challenge my might, and wish to gain access to the clues necessary to win this...little charade.

Well...you see...my hint will not be so easily obtained by those who flock to the fun of a children's card game.  No, twill not be that simple!  A card game worthy of a King is what we shall play.  A card game by the name....Hearthstone!  If you are a newcomer to the game, I suggest you back away from my challenge now, as I will not take pity on those with...lesser cards.

It's simple really...We'll use the wild format!  Come at me with any cards you wish!  You'll need them if you're to stand up to my power!

Best 2/3 Wins.

If you're interested, plan your funeral arrangements, and post your Blizzard ID in this thread.

Muhahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa

Hearthstone is completely superior to your so called....magic.

Hearthstone is almost entirely based on the RNG. I - having not played HS in months - could boot it up right now, take your challenge, and you could use the best deck ever made, but there's always the probability that the RNG will just screw over your every move and you'll get curb-stomped by a rusty-ass, sub-par Warlock player. In Magic, that just doesn't happen if you know how to build your deck. Sure, sheet happens, but unless you get major-league shafted by RNJesus (in which case you weren't winning Hearthstone anyway), you'll have cards, you'll be able to make plays, and it's the player with a better understanding of the game that comes out on top.

In short, challenging you to Hearthstone for the clue is basically hitting up a slot machine. Besides, the game couldn't even be bothered to make its own lore; it had to go make a mockery of all the lore Warcraft spent a couple decades building on instead.

Ahhh yes, but there is a mixture of balance and rng in Hearthstone.  However, with your pathetic game, you are at the mercy of finding your own mana supply!  Yu-gi-oh and Magic are nothing but a blowout.

If your only argument is that RNG plays a big role in a CARD GAME, then I'm sad to say that that argument is not worth a king's time.

Now...this topic was made for a purpose...not for you to defy my rule!

I think you're being waaaaaay too harsh on HS RNG Yui, but that's not the point of this topic, so....

Skeleton King! I haven't been participating much in this hunt, but you've given me a perfect opportunity to jump in! Unfortunately, I'm pretty busy tonight so I can't do battle with you right now. Let's meet again at, say... this time tomorrow? The name's Brinolovania, #1859. I hope you'll be ready, Mr. King, because I sure as hell will be.

While everything you've said is true, Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic both have online avenues of access that require no financial investment on the player's part. Hearthstone doesn't have that. If you want a decent deck, you have to do downright infuriating amounts of tedious grinding (trust me, I'd know) or pay money to maybe get the cards you need or enough dust to make them. Meanwhile, Magic and YGO respectively have Cockatrice and YGOPro, which grant a player access to the entire cardpool, absolutely free. They also take up a less hard drive space and are considerably easier on low-end computers. So while you are at the mercy of your deck in Magic just for the ability to play, you can at avoid the route of paying real-life money and still being at that same mercy. At least in Magic you have the totally valid excuse of not drawing any mana if that really happens, in which case you add a couple more lands for next time.

Now who's playing the blowout?

Peasants don't deserve to play card games...and they especially don't have the right to challenge my might

Actually, it is. A pleasure to meet you, Mr. King. I am Frank Underwood, President of the United States of America and leader of the free world. And you are?

Shut your mouth you whelp!  I have no desire to know the name of any human, let alone one who leads such filth!

I am the Skeleton King!  Master of All!  Master to none!  I have conquered countless galaxies, and rule them with an undead iron fist!

Then mind explaining why your bony-white ass is not known in this neck of the galaxy? A king must be known before he is allowed the power to rule.

Even so, considering you don't have the advantage of the Monster Aura within Hearthstone, as soon as I remember what my Blizzard ID is and brush up on my plays, you and I shall dance. I will post my ID here when I am ready. Be prepared, your highness, because I'm coming for your crown (and your hint). I'm about to prove to you just how wrong you are about the 'peasants not being allowed to play' bit.

Also, nice choices of pics and GIFs, UE. I almost sprayed my tea on the 'Consider the Following' one due to flashbacks.

Here's hoping that tangoing with the Riddler's challenges has helped to sharpen my damaged noggin.
