Wind Witch – Crystal Bell
Level 7 WIND Spellcaster Fusion Effect Monster
ATK 2800
DEF 2400
Fusion Materials: “Wind Witch – Winter Bell” + 1 “Wind Witch” monster
You can only use each effect of “Wind Witch – Crystal Bell” once per turn.
(1): You can target 1 monster in either player’s Graveyard; until the End Phase, this card is treated as having the same name as that monster, and gains its effects.
(2): If this card is destroyed by your opponent and sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 “Wind Witch – Winter Bell” and 1 Level (?) or lower “Wind Witch” monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon them.

I find it ironic that Parasite Fusioner was an almost generic option to turn any non-Fusion Deck into a Fusion enabling Deck, but that Crystal Bell requires the Synchro and any Wind Witch. Meaning that unless Parasite Fusioner is released and does something to override Summon Conditions, you can't actually use it in a Wind Witch Deck. Meaning you'd have to add Poly or similar to non-Fusion Decks to enable a Fusion of this. Seems clunky at best.

That said, this card's effects are fantastic.

Parasite Fusioner was revealed alongside it. It doesn't work like the anime, where it could replace /anything/. Unfortunately, now it can only replace named materials due to game mechanic. Was hoping it had a card text to override this, but it doesn't.

It's funny, because that topic popped up literally within moments of me making that post.

And I'm a little disappointed in Fusioner, but at least this card's Summon Condition doesn't literally lose the flavor that anime Fusioner enabled.

And why did this get a slot over characters that matter?

Neither this or Parasite deserved a slot.

Effect is good, just a tad salty atm.

"Characters that matter"? As in, characters central to the plot?

Uh...because seriously, half the current plot revolves around the fact the bracelet girls all got a Parasite, represented by this card, that compels them to play Parasite cards alongside their normal Decks? Unless you're Serena, in which case you now run pure Parasites.

Quotes are broken but in regards to evilfusion and Slinky, why shouldn't Parasite Fusioner work with this?

Substitute for the Synchro's specific name and have the Synchro serve as the "1 "Wind Witch" monster" and you should be good to go.

Anyways, as mentioned elsewhere in discussion, use with Mega Zaborg. Dumping Chimerafflesia searches Miracle Synchro Fusion, then you can also copy Ancient Gear Chaos Giant.

When I first made that post, Parasite hadn't been posted yet, so I was commenting on the card by itself, without awareness of whether Parasite would even be released, or what its effect would be. As such, since the Summoning Conditions weren't something like "Winter Bell + Parasite Fusioner" (or "Synchro Monster + Parasite Fusioner"), I found it ironic that the Parasite played no explicit role whatsoever with the card's default Summoning Condition. At the same time, I noted the possibility that Parasite WOULD have such an effect, because the anime was using it as a generic Fusion enabler.

Of course, now that Parasite was revealed, it actually makes this easier to Summon, provided you can SS the Parasite, just because you can fuse it with any Wind Witch, rather than needing the Synchro specifically. But without the Parasite, you do need the Synchro.

I've played a Rin x Yugo Speedroid/Wind Witch Crystal Wing Turbo, and since I do tech Where Arf for Dice, Glow, and Snow Bell, it's a little hard for Parasite Fusioner considering it needs to be SSed in order to Fusion right away despite being at least Level 1. It's weird that in the anime you could get it off fine with just NSing it, and that if you substitute Winter Bell then the float doesn't work.

Regardless of Parasite and thinking more about the card itself, it is absolutely fantastic with MSF. Though due to the nature of the WIND summoning restriction, the effects you can best work off of are Winter Bell itself and Clear Wing or another Synch that has a OPT Trigger, considering a lot of other Synchros trigger on Summon.

Hmm...Miracle Synchro Fusion seems solid enough actually. Plus, you could even go for uh...that Synchro Fusion that uses Spellcaster Materials. Damn it, what's it called...

Supreme Arcanite Magician!

...this is probably better than Supreme Arcanite, but it's an option.

Discussed this with a friend elsewhere, but if you use Mega Zaborg you can send Chimerafflesia to slow-search Miracle Synchro Fusion, go straight into this, and then copy anything else you sent from the Extra (eg Chaos Giant)

The problem with this is the difficulty of triggering Mega Zaborg. I'd think an Infernoid Engine would be less clunky, and that's saying something.

You do the regular Monarch plays and target itself?? It's literally the same as it ever was.

No one said it had to be a Wind Witch deck.

Ahh, mill 2 Winter Bell, 1 Chimerafflesia, 3 N'tss, something good to copy and any 1 thing else.

Nice, I like it.
