Blake
SPFE-JP011 Predator PlanterContinuous Spell CardThis card’s controller pays 800 LP during each of their Standby Phases. Or if you do not pay LP, destroy this card.(1) Once per turn: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower “Predator Plant” monster from your hand or Graveyard, but its effects are negated. Note: Due to Upkeep costs like this card not being printed recently, and no other card to compare to, the text is a bit new, so apologies with any revisions. Maeriberii Haan
So in-archetype Fertilizer. Hopefully having the name means it's searchable.
玄魔の王
I think we can all agree the deck NEEDED this thing.
The Highlander
So they are finally able to summon starve venom, cannot even use a fly hell after being summoned this way, cannot even revive high level monsters, have to pay life points to keep it up, cannot search it and do not gain any real advantage, outside of reviving fusion or xyz ma... nvm at least they can go for rank 2s and rank 4s with this card.Sadly it does not even trigger Squid Drosera and unlike Chimera does not add any appeal to the deck, however I suppose it is usable does help the deck to do anything. Neochu-H
YES FINALLY now lets hope they get some more members and more support >.>
evilfusion
This is good enough, but Predator Plants need more/better members. As it is, this thing is useful for Starve Venom and for maintaining advantage a little bit, but it sadly can't revive Chimera Rafflesia, and the effect negation hurts a LOT, considering they can't swarm, but really want to, because their effects combo. So yeah, they need more support. BADLY.
BLASTERZ
why cant you revive rafflesia this card sucks ass cancer im gonna run it more for the rank 4 plays than the fusion plays
Βyakuya
This support card is perfectly fine, the problem is how good the rest of the Predator Plants will be. Every other regular member before Rafflesia and this was really disappointing. I wouldn't mind the effect negation, but there at least has to be a coherent way of filtering Predator Plants by addition and at least having strong members other than Starve to Special off this or have float effects that trigger off of sending by Fusion. VampireofDarkness
This and the new Fusion have me hope for Predator Plants to be eventually good, but yeesh does it look like a long road to it. Good start, but the actual Predator Plants themselves are in need of some work before we get to calling the Deck good.
evilfusion
I feel that Predator Plants, as an archetype, should eventually be on the same level as Speedroids and Phantom Knights, in terms of usability. Which I suppose equates to being mostly used as an engine booster for some rogue decks and such, rather than a standalone pure archetype, but that's okay, because there's a LOT of Plant support that can benefit Predators. The Warden
Shaddolls? I mean, teching in Sundew is hilarious as he can make SVFD with what's on the field, and also Chimera Rafflesia and Winda too.
