If this card in your possession is sent to your Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 "Six Samurai" monster from your Deck or Extra Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. You can only use each effect of "Ascendant Warlord of Six Samurai - Shi En" once per turn.

2nd times i see Six Sam support here. Yea i'm a big fan of Six Sam (outside of Shaddolls and Floofs)

 

> First effect is sweet, let you ss from deck (notable target is Kagemusha), synch 10 for Leo, last eff let you float into Shi En. Pretty descent board.

> Also last effect kinda miss'd "except Ascendant Warlord of Six Samurai - Shi En", so when it leaves the field, you cant SS another same thing again. Same with fusion mat requirements so you wont be sending Ascendant to SS another Ascendant and free float.

 

My suggestions:

 

> Maybe instead of generic "discard 1 card" i prefer like "discard 1 Six Samurai or Shien card" that way the cost isn't too easy to come up.

> "Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards from either field to the Graveyard" kinda evil imo . . . (ik youre  Super Poly fanatic), but in mirror duel its gonna be silly, since both Six Sam users will Tribute either player's Six Sam and even better if Tributing Ascendant, since it'll keep floating and can keep ss'ing, so i prefer something like "Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by Tributing above cards you control". Well yes obviously, Mask of Restrict kills it, but Shinai exist, enforcing people to run Mizuho/Shinai combo while Tributing Shinai let you recover Six Sam from grave.

 

Overall i have mixed feelings about this, its easier to summon than Legendary Shi En and yet stronger. But Six Sam kinda need this kind of support tho.

> So he's LIGHT? This raises soooo many questions as original Shi En/Shien was DARK, but Shadow Shi En was EARTH. Then who is he? The original Shien? Shadow Shi En? Another Shi En? Either one kill'd the other and absorb their power (from Stand-Off and Face-Off atwork)?

The first part was intentional actually. With three Six Sams you could end on Shi En (sync) + This guy, the hard OPT on his effects means you can't keep floating, sorta like the marshmacron card. Do you think that's too strong?
