Smear
Didn't see this earlier, sorry. Mainly, fractals are used on tags to at atmo or create a nice effect or, honestly sometimes we just play around with settings until we get what we like. By changing the layer mode (screen, overlay, divide, multiply, etc.) we achieve these effects on tags that are generally subtle.
Mr420QuickScopes
Is that basically it though? Like adding them on and playing with effects? Everything I ever did back in the day was all pretty much filters that i'd play with and by dumb luck it looked good haha, never used Fractals so when I see the packs with like 250+ fractals i just get confused :L
Simping For Hina
yeah, basically. There is more to it than that. Most of the time, once you get proficient, they can just become a handicap with what you're doing and you limit using them as much as you can except for a few here and there. I'll have to find some and see how they go when I'm playing around with them
Simping For Hina
Play with them as much as you can, in every way you can, and do it often as possible. You don't get good with them by not using them. Play with them in every way you know how, learn other ways to do the same, and do it repeatedly. Just learn about them.
