LK96 Posted September 18, 2016 Report Share Posted September 18, 2016 Fusion DestructionContinuous Spell Activate this card by sending 1 "Polymerization" from your hand to the Graveyard; look at your opponent's Deck, also banish up to 3 "Polymerization" Spell/Trap Cards and/or "Fusion" Spell/Trap Cards from their Deck, except "Diffusion Wave-Motion", then inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each card banished. During either player's turn, when your opponent activates a "Polymerization" Spell/Trap Card or Fusion Spell/Trap Card, except "Diffusion Wave-Motion": You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that card, then inflict 300 damage to your opponent. heraldry_lord Posted September 18, 2016 Report Share Posted September 18, 2016 It doesn't stop Mask Change. 1/10 obvious plot device. Why would it stop a card that may or may not exist in the anime universe? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~~ Posted September 18, 2016 Report Share Posted September 18, 2016 Honestly, the bad part about this card is the requirement of having to have poly in hand. But if this card was released IRL, it would probably need to be nerfed since this card can stop some decks entirely if you open with it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Everyone crying about it not stopping dark law but this card alone can legit prevent certain decks from actually making any kind of play. Dolls would have to rely on their 1 El Shaddoll. Don't phosis only run 1 of both fusions? (If so lmfao, good bye both) I'd say Heros but because they degraded to dark law.dek it's only a minor slap on the wrist for them. ~British Soul~ Posted September 18, 2016 Report Share Posted September 18, 2016 >Activate by sending "Polymerization" from your hand to the graveReminds me of that card Jaden used in Season 3 of GX that required you to send Poly from your hand to the grave. But yah, Plot device is as plot device does. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Toffee. Posted September 19, 2016 Report Share Posted September 19, 2016 This would be really cute if they printed it IRL. 'Course, it's a blatant plot device, but still. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
But yah, Plot device is as plot device does. Revoke Fusion. The artwork even is vaguely similar, with the cracked polymerization. I realize that Asuka's Deck is vaguely anti-Fusion (logical, considering Fusion Dimension), but why does her Deck even run a Polymerization at all? Cyber Blader, I'm guessing. It's just kind of weird that some plot device cards specifically require a discard of Poly. This is like...the third one. - Revoke Fusion- This card- Antique Gear Chaos Fusion Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~British Soul~ Posted September 19, 2016 Report Share Posted September 19, 2016 Revoke Fusion. The artwork even is vaguely similar, with the cracked polymerization.That's the one I was thinking of. vla1ne Posted September 19, 2016 Report Share Posted September 19, 2016 dragons mirror ftw. starve venom and first of the dragons will not be denied!also, ritual beasts, D/D/D, magnet warriors, and ABC give 0 fucks about this card. otherwise, the card might be a plot device, but it's not *too* bad as far as plot device cards go. it still murders most fusion strategies while granting a decent level of burn. And really, the utter shutdown of most Fusion Decks is even more significant in the context of an ex-Academia student using it. It's a plot-device by RL standards, but in the anime, the vast majority of times it'd ever be used is against a Fusion Dimension resident (both when Asuka was still a student and afterwards). And it'd doom the vast majority of them on the spot. Even if they had a Poly in their hand when this was used to avoid it being hit from the Deck, activating it will just result in the same, due to the second effect. Which makes sense, because I noted at one point that both Asuka and Yuri use cards in some form that would utterly decimate fellow Fusion users. Comes as little surprise that they'd be considered some of the strongest students there. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
