I think it's much better, but...that's it. It's literally remake of Odd-Eyes Rebellion.

There are a couple of cards that do it.

I think the "devil" they speak of in Arc V is Yuya ultimate edge mode using this card as his "upgrade" to OERD.

Most likely, however I do not mind this, considering the concept behind rebellion was cute, though his pendulum effect was terrible due to his scale, his effect was mediocre (outside of cute RUM plays, though those are mediocre as well) and this card actually gets you something reasonable for your investment.

To be fair scale 1 is fine, considering it relies on multiple instable factors (destruction, no summon negation, actually getting 3 level 7s with xia) and that basicly means it is actually useful (opposed to pendulum zone pollution).

Also, I think this is going to be OERD's manga counterpart. It doesn't make sense for it to be in the anime.

[spoiler=Anime spoilers]Judging from the previews, this monster will be summoned in anime when Yuya/Yuto duels against Ruri (and later Serena I believe).

 

 

Appearance-wise, this looks like an inverted version of Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon.

 

While the card is better than Rebellion, I'll still run both of them. (In case of destroying scales and triple attack if opponent controls no Xyz with Level 7 or lower)

Okay, so at first glance, it is LITERALLY just Odd-Eyes Rebellion again. It's a 3000 ATK Rank 7 Pendulum Xyz, but it's Scale 1 instead of Scale 4.

 

Its Pendulum Effect is almost identical. It can grab any Pendulum from the Deck to set as a Scale.

 

Even its Summon Condition is almost identical. 2 Level 7 Dragons, gets an effect if an Xyz was used as Material. Oh, here's where they change things up.

 

- It can attack twice with no restrictions (provided an Xyz was used as Material). It does not appear to STILL need the Material to keep this effect, so you can detach said Xyz freely.

 

It can detach 1 to nuke all your opponents' cards...and gains 200 ATK for each. There is no restriction whatsoever attached. All your other monsters can attack. Damage is not nullifed or nerfed. This is pretty much an OTK on the spot.

 

And if it dies, you can set it as a Scale, as expected of all Extra Deck Summon Method - Pendulums.

 

It seems very powerful, and seems to want you to use it with Dark Requiem and Astral Force or something.

Soul Shave with the new Raid Raptor (assuming it gets released), however the most common way would appear to be with a teched xiangke magician and 3 level 7s (or absolute to summon it on m2, if you really do not have the materials to summon it during m1).
