Just because it doesn't compare doesn't mean it's not cheating, you're making plays that are illegal. There's a difference between sportsmanship and cheating, anyway.

I'm making plays exactly as the judge has told me to. He organises the club/group/event (not sure what to call it as I normally refer to it by the place where it's hosted) and doesn't like it when people "back seat judge" or tell him how to do his job.

I'll agree that it is poor sportsmanship of me to make use of a more powerful ruling than would otherwise be available to me, but hey, it's only a game. Games are for fun, and gain a whole lot of enjoyment from every trap being soul charge.

It is your problem.

Who wants to play with, proverbially speaking, some asshat who would rather play dirty?

Who wants to play with someone egotistical enough to say "I'm having fun, funk you"?

Think about it, seriously, because it's scummy at best.

And pretty sure he was asking about your locals.

Well it hasn't been a problem so far. If it turns out to be, I will not be surprised though, as every group of friends I get realises that I am a massive arsehole after some amount of time and eventually they get tired of it and kick me out.

But hey, what am I gonna do about it? I'm an absolute arse and I know it, but I love myself just they way I am. I'm happy and not at all motivated to change that. The cycle of

  1. Make new friends
  2. Go steady (proverbally speaking)
  3. Get pissed off with everyone else's perceived inferiority (I have a self diagnosed superiority complex)
  4. Lose patience
  5. Treat people like s*** and make it clear that I don't give half a damn about them
  6. Get in trouble for being horrid to people and get kicked out of that group of friends
  7. Depression
  8. Remorse
  9. Laugh it off
  10. repeat

.. is basically the story of my life

Oh right.. no I'm not going to tell people online where I live because I don't want real world ramifications for my online persona.

EDIT: Currently at stage 2 at the Yugioh club. Starting to get into stage 3 because there's this one guy there who plays decks but learns what his cards do mid-tournament. Last week I was trading with someone and he was pestering me for help/rulings while he was duelling and I had to tell him that I was busy about 3 times. Also, you lot putting ethical challenges on me is only accelerating this process as I am currently doing what is known in psychology as rationalising.
