Gear Gigant X Ancient Gear Wyvern

Before Wyvern

You already had Gear Gigant's ability to tutor Ancient Gear Box, which would give you a Deskbot or a cheeky Geargiauger. Extra discard fodder for those who remember Geargias playing Box alongside PWWB. Gear Gigant is also able to recycle Ancient Gear Box from the grave which can mean a powerful search engine/can mitigate the drawback of drawing Box.

 

Gigant could also grab Symphonic Warrior Guitaars which would then bridge into Miccs and you would gain a useful normal summon.

 

These scenarios were mutually exclusive.

 

After Wyvern

Now in the process of making Gigant, you can use Wyvern to search for Box and grab Deskbot 003.

 

Gigant can freely grab Symphonic Warrior Guitaars and use the searched Box as a discard for Miccs. This also solves a prime issue with Deskbots searched off Box since you have an additional normal summon. By summoning 003, you can summon 005 and make infinity with Miccs and 005.

 

 

You just need to field an additional level 4 machine alongside Wyvern (Gadgets). Catapult counts as well but it requires an additional card in the form of a Pendulum Scale which Deskbots already play. Alternatives include Unexpected Dai to summon Dragong which can be machine duped at worst. It's an additional 2-card combo on top of the other powerful 2-card combos such as Dupe + 003. If there's anything salvageable from this Structure Deck, it's probably this.

Don't know about Deskbots, but in my IRL Dinomist roids I use Box to search Dragong if I already have a low scale. Box is insanely useful there as it can then be used as free Pendulum fodder. Even if I don't have another Pendulum I can still just use it as a Machina Fortress discard or whatever.

 

Wyvern is good but the fact it can't add back from the Graveyard is annoying, because you never want to run more than 1 Box so if you draw it, Wyvern becomes useless.

It can search Ancient Gear Workshop, which does recover Ancient Gears from the Graveyard.
