Level 7 EARTH Machine-Type Synchro Effect Monster
ATK 1200
DEF 2800
1 Machine-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner Machine-Type monsters
(1) This card can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation.
(2) If you have no Spell/Trap Cards in your Graveyard: You can halve this card’s original DEF until the end of this turn, and it can attack directly during this turn.
(3) Once per turn, during the next Standby Phase after this card was destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard.

It's not about how good its stats are, but how easily you can Special Summon it.

What's worth mentioning is that is can be Special Summoned by any Machine-Type monsters. Also, since there are cards that can protect it from effects and/or battle destruction (Gaundlet/Flutist), its self-Special Summoning is cute. Also, potantial use of Ball + a Level 5 monster, but how many decks do leave Level 5 monsters on the field often (unless you happen to use Jade to increase Ball's Level)?

Soulhorns is cute to use with this card and, if for some reason you have Cannon or Wall ready to equip to it, you can easily go for game.

Jade and Soulfire can help to Special Summon this a bit easier (due to their effects). Also, It's a potential first-turn-defense establishment. Best case scenario: NS Flutist/Gloves, SS Trump, SS Musashi, bring back Trump, SS trump again, SS this monster. (Flutist in graveyard?) and Gaundlet/Soulfire in hand. Drum is less likely (but not impossible) to use for this L7 monster.

So far, those are the only pluses and plays I can see.

Well it's a 1400 poke that's immune to Torrential? That's not half bad

Superheavies don't use Torrential. Also, It would be pointless for the opponent to use it since they know you'll Special Summon it back anyway.

I think there are other destruction effects more worth to use against it.

If you're worried about this, then you're missing the point; these varied Levels are there to make Ball less and less situational, not to guarantee that you can bring them out.

Well let's see.... Superheavy Samurais have three Tuners. Two Level 2, and one Level 1.

This thing is Level 7....so I don't know....Perhaps if you had Big Waraji and one of the Level 2, or Shutendoji and Drums? I mean its more useful than Kyubey and Sarutobi at least.

EDIT- It also is not specific to needing Superheavy Samurais as material, so you could technically use it elsewhere. I don't know why you would, but the point stands.

it's funny because if you equip soulfire suit to Battleball, you can start eating level 2 monsters, which I think covers every level from 1-8.

Basically the strong points of this card are that it is really easy to summon and that it's a 7 for battleball to mess with level 5s. while being effectively destruction proof is nice, the only things that destroy samurais are summon negation and spell speed 1 stuff, which means you probably won't live to see the next turn unless you have prepped defense.

Trumpeter + LV3 into Musashi, retrieve Trumpeter, further go into this.

Pretty simple.
