Did you watch the debate? If so what were your thoughts?

Nope, don't really have a reason to watch it. My overall thoughts are that this election is a circus, only really wanting Hillary to win as my political views are more in line with her than the other candidates, though my opinion is worth as much as a rock's considering I'm not American and I'm currently not of voting age. Though I'm not really keen on the political parties where I live, aside from what the UUP has said they're going to try and do.

Does KC have an original English beta coming? (Also your member title (the thing right above the avi) seems cut off.)

if it does the developers are telling no-one. Warship Girls has its closed Japanese beta starting sometime soon, and the developers have said they are interested in an English release.

 

KanColle's PS Vita game is getting fan translated but I'm not sure how long it will take to be finished.

 

Saw that when I got on. Probably can do without the first sentence.

Do you have an opinion on the fact that almost all the questions in this AMA were from me? :P

 

If I just have a list of things Im considering watching but have no clue about but want to so I can decide who would/should I go to on YCM?

I honestly don't care who asks questions. I only really made this for something to keep me busy while I do other stuff.

 

I'm not sure, possibly a member who spends a bit watching anime. I just have anime playing while I browse, so I don't really pay that much attention.

Swooping in for a random question

Favorite fantasy element?

Probably magic. I haven't really read or watched something in the fantasy genre in a while (last time was I was reading through Zenescopes Grimm Fairy Tales a few months ago, and that is still mainly a horror comic), so I'm going to go for magic.

 

I've like magic for a while, mainly learning towards magic which is channelled through an item like a staff or rings. Also the different fighting styles which magic can open up through the equipment needed to use it effectively (Clothing made from plant based materials are better than metal or leather based armours). Honestly if I'm watching a show which has magic and is sort of bad I will still watch it to see how it is used, which is the case for Kamen Rider Wizard, which while had a fairly eh plot the way the magic was used and how it meant the characters could really punch due to the rings did lead to great fight scenes.

Who's the new avi and where from? I looked at the status but don't understand I guess.

Avi is the Heavy Cruiser Quincy from Warship Girls. The only ship which has her own language, which only Quincy's illustrator and New Orleans can understand, called Quincian which looks some thing like this:

Is this just for Shigure or are there ones for others too (including Iowa in case I decide to use that image thing again)?

 

Also, why do you post it in threads? Seems more like avi fodder than post fodder even if it is cute.

Its something called EmoFuri (E-mote Free Movie Maker) so there are more than just Shigure. Don't believe there are any for Iowa and aren't restricted to KanColle.

But I thought the Admiral commanded the normal ships, not the abyssals. :P

My Admiral is merciful, while I was an abyssal ship after being defeated by the Admiral's main fleet he offered me work as an replenishment oiler. Alongside Chaser and Yukikaze, I hope to atone for the damage I have caused.

Where the Abyssals come from is one thing I am not certain of. While I was part of the Abyssal fleet, I was not always one. I was corrupted while serving the Mongolian fleet and then converted into an Aviation Battleship by the Abyssals. I was defeated and returned to my original purpose by the Admiral before I was fully transformed into an Abyssal ship like Yamato. My theory would be it is just the regrets of ships which have been sunk, regardless of their current status, as there have been reports of Abyssals bearing the names of Bismarck, Tirpitz, Akagi, Kaga, Zuikaku, and Shoukaku. All of which I have worked alongside since my restoration.

 

You seem keen to want to learn more about other people, and engage in certain political conversations. The latter I can't address fully as I don't worry about politics. It is my job to maintain the fleets oil, not worry about the workings of a country.

 

Due to my nature of work I have not had much time to spend on personal entertainment so there isn't much I can say, as aside from keeping the fleets oil at the required level I am also in charge of fishing which does eat into personal time. So I haven't had much time to watch videos outside of those that Quincy and Aoba show during meals.

 

The Admiral is unavailable at this moment, however I will leave a message with his secretary ship, Tirpitz, to pass along a message.

"The theory is that the Abyssals are a personification of a ships regrets, for example not being able to save a crew member or another ship. The status of the ship is whether it exists as a ship girl, for example Warspite, or it is just the ship itself, for example HMS Manchester. However exceptions exist in the form of Abyssals like Zuikaku."
