My IRL deck, and the one I'm currently going to use in a tournament come September at this local Comic Con. So, let's get down to the break down!

[spoiler=Deck Information]

Currently I have no access to Blazeman, so I am making due with what I can. Main staple at this point is Shadow Mist. It runs with ways to Special Summon it and allow me to have the edge of getting a "Change" card from deck, aside from Call of the Haunted and M-HERO Dian:

  • Fake Hero - An idea that I never thought of before, but one that is VERY useful to my style of play. Activate it, Special Summon an "E-HERO" from hand. Can't attack and goes back to the hand at the End Phase. Well, it's not a bad thing. A quick use of this with the combo of Shadow Mist, automatically you get a "Change" card and then you quickly change Shadow Mist into Anki or Dark Law for that attack. Fake Hero is also useful with this to where you can have an additional summon, so twice at that moment.
  • Soul Rope - Another idea that I never thought of until a friend suggested it to me. The downside, is that this card only will work if the monster you control is destroyed and sent to the grave outside of battle. So in other words, a card effect would need to be activated (i.e. Dark Hole, Raigeki, etc). But still, at 1000 LP for this to activate, Special Summon 1 Level 4 from the Deck. Instant Shadow Mist there!

Not only this, but along with Mirror Force, Compulsory, and Bottomless to keep things off your opponent's field either by destroying, sending it back, or banishing...another idea was added: Battleguard Howling. Battleguard Howling works perfectly in an all Warrior typed deck such as HEROs. And not only does the opponent's monster get returned to the hand (or Extra if its one of those), but the opponent takes a hefty amount of damage equal to the original attack of the face-up monster they control.

As for the Extra Deck, not much else to say at this point. However, Flame Wingman and Phoenix Enforcer are temporary cards, only there until I can acquire something else to take their place.

The Side Deck will be added at a later date, as I have zero cards in the Side at this moment.

No triple Shadow-Mist, Bubble Man, Summoner Monk, A Hero Lives?

Yaaaaay! First comment!

Okay so...

-3 Shadow Mist: I'm trying to get that going but once again, not able to get it right now, same with Blazeman.

-Bubbleman: Between Bubbleman v. Ocean, I prefer to use Ocean, mainly due to the fact of recycling HEROs from the grave and adding some to hand.

-Summoner Monk: I prefer not to use that. With the acception of Grand Mole and Effect Veiler, Im trying to keep this pure HERO. And the special summoning methods currently available seem to be enough and easier for use than Summoner Monk imo.

-A Hero Lives: Originally thought of that, but decided against it. Might put it in Side.

Thanks for the suggestions, however. I might have to put some into my Side Deck as possibilities.

None of those cards are worth being ran, especially if you're only going to run one each, par from Woodsman, which does not serve a purpose here, either. Remove those and you already have 10 open slots for improvement.

Also, you hardly have enough cards that allow you to Special Summon. No, Fake Hero / CoTh / Soul Rope are not enough, especially when they are sub-par at best. You need triple AHL's / x2 Monks to get out Mist as fast as possible, otherwise there is no point in running Mist at all.
