Maxesmose
A little Backstory: I was chilling in the lobby waiting for someone to come online. After what felt like an eternity, I hear that "Shk(!?)" sound, signaling that someone was indeed looking for a duel (Or just saying Hi idk). Me and said person who caused the "Shk(!?)" were the only ones online at that moment, so his question of "Duel?" was probably targeting me. Anyways, we get into the duel and he seems pretty knowledgeable of DP. He alerts me about my deck being glitched and even told me how to fix it. He seemed like a nice guy. We start playing and I notice how he's trying to get me to slip up. You know, things like "You already normal summoned (Triamid) Hunter, u can't normal summon again". He also tried on several occasions to to rule shark (I think!?) claiming I summoned another monster before Normal Summoning Hunter. After a few times of him repeating such actions, I call him out on it. I don't know What I said. I'm not sure if he's just going through a bad day. All I know is he started getting all defensive. He started acting a little bit aggressive. I tried calming him down (Saying "Chill" probably didn't help, but oh well), but that didn't work. All I can say is he wasn't friendly at all for the duration of the duel after that. After winning, he called me "Scrub lord" and logged out of the site. Now, I don't claim to be the "victim". I'm a pretty aggressive person when confronted (About anything), so I'm pretty sure I said something that I wasn't supposed to say. I thankfully have screenshots that show his flawless response to being called out. Small details:- I left some parts out because they were basically us arguing over card effs, how he shouldn't rule shark people, and how DN and Devpro/Ygopro both give players time to think (Not Stall).- I never called him a coward, I simply pointed out that Rule sharking people is a "Cowardly act". Screenshots: http://imgur.com/a/PsuFF Such actions should not be ignored. It's not about how I "suffered" this dude's ****. Not at all! I'm not even annoyed by it xD! However, DP's future isn't looking so bright rn. If there are rules, they're not enforced at all.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Unlike Dueling Network, there are no online admin to actually keep tabs on you guys fighting (or really a lot of people at all to even do so). But yes, it is common courtesy to not be an ass towards your opponent in a game, which is something that some DN players had the tendency to do at times (given that thread in Games). In your case, having a third party viewing the duel to confirm that you didn't summon a monster beforehand would've helped (apparently Halohbottech was viewing; did he speak during this duel?) -----There should be written rules, yes (aside from the common courtesy stuff), but even if we did, no one on DP aside from sea has any admin powers or is online to intervene if necessary. Sluggaholic
(Note: My name on DP is Halohbottech, as was my old name before changing to Fushi No Tori.) Yeah, I should've spoken up sooner. But the way things were going, Felgrand was adamant about the situation ruling in his favour, despite overwhelming evidence against him: the largest being DP's placement system. When you summon a monster automatically, it places the monsters from left > right for you, and right > left for your opponent. That alone should've solved the problem, but Felgrand ignored it. That's the issue here: while rules would be nice, they wouldn't stop people from simply ignoring the information presented to them. Humans are stubborn things and if things don't go our way, we have the ability to change the circumstance to fit us how we like. Because of that, I don't ever think we'll see something done about this. j:
