I don't have the game, but I know loads about it because I am obsessed with it.

CP 1806 Lucario (this is set in the future) holding a mega stone

Go. (I don't have the game but idc)

cr47t got a CP 45 Charmander as a starter, and ended up walking all day his first day. Getting tired out, he stopped at a McDonald's where he found a CP 46 Gastly behind the counter, serving burgers to people. A CP 40 Nidoran ♂ was also there, eating some fries. He came across a nearby Poke Stop where a statue was and managed to get enough Poke Balls to cover those he had used and then some. Afterward, he went home.

 

I can't remember my name but I have a Bulbsaur.

Azure Wolf played some Pokemon Go while walking his dog. In doing so, he found a CP 172 Growlithe. However, his luck was poor for the rest of the day, coming across only Weedle and Pidgey. Eventually, he sat down, where he met a young lady who was also playing Pokemon Go. The two chatted and parted on friendly terms. Later on that day, Azure Wolf found out that that very same girl found a dead body while playing the game.

 

Team Valor with Shinx.

Being realistic here, so no later-gen Pokemon yet.

 

egotisticalghost planned ahead and chose a mild, slightly overcast day to play Pokemon Go. He ended up wasting multiple Poke Balls on a CP 203 Pidgeotto but eventually managed to capture it. While doing so, he ended up getting weird looks from passerby, one of whom was shaking their head in exasperation. Later, he stumbled upon a CP 143 Rhyhorn which he didn't have yet, and used the last of his Poke Balls catching that one.

 

Cr0cc0, Level 10, Jolteon (Electricuck), Raticate (Makarov), Pidgeot (PygmyBirb), and Beedrill (SHAREDNEEDLE).

 

Go.

 

EDIT: Team Valor.

Fushi No Tori collected coins and stardust from the Pokemon he had placed in gyms, and then set out for the day. Wandering around, he caught a CP 93 Horsea and a bunch of Rattata. Later, he stumbled upon a church that turned out to be a gym held by Team Mystic, and he spent most of the day weaning its level down and feeding Potions to his Pokemon till he finally defeated it and put his Jolteon Electricuck in there. As he went home, he found out that the Pokemon he had previously placed in Gyms were all defeated by some crusader from Team Instinct.

 

Don't have the game but when (and if) I do i will be Valour.

Desman Black played like mad with his CP 43 Charmander starter, and eventually reached level 5, where he could choose a team and take on gyms. He chose Valor and set about training his Pokemon for that, using stardust and eventually stopping that, and focusing on raising his trainer level instead. He caught some higher level Pokemon that way, but his best one was probably the CP 228 Kangaskhan he hatched from an egg. He ended up using her to help support a gym held by a guy named Cr0cc0.

Nah this is set in the present with no later gen Pokemon.

 

Speedroid chooses to obtain a CP 48 Pikachu instead of the other starters. His next catch is a CP 60 Eevee who he names Rainer because Vaporeon is the strongest of the three and he wants to plan ahead. However, after that, he finds mostly Weedle, though he does get a 10 km egg from a Poke stop fountain. Later, he gets in trouble with a cranky old man for trespassing on his yard looking for a Ponyta. He doesn't end up catching the Ponyta, but he does get a story to share with his friends.

 

For when I get Pokemon Go.

Nyx, like many, starts out with a CP 49 Charmander. From then on he manages to find a lot of Pokemon, but where he gets the most luck is in eggs. From visiting Poke stops and walking around, he hatches his 10 km egg into a 50 CP Dratini. Warned by a friend, he doesn't waste candy or stardust in boosting it, but instead walks around some more, hoping to find enough Dratini to evolve one into a Dragonair. At the end of the day, he visits a graveyard to find some ghost Pokemon, but finds a 63 CP Omanyte instead, and heads home.

 

Now this is interesting.

 

Level 21, Instinct.

Gadjiltron unfortunately chooses a rather hot day to resume his Pokemon Go journey. However, he does find enough Bellsprout to evolve that Weepinbell in his party to a CP 1019 Victreebell. Later on, with Victreebell in hand to counteract those pesky Vaporeon, he goes on a crusade to wipe out all the red and blue gyms and replace them with yellow. One of which is held by this guy named Cr0cc0. During that time, he hatches multiple eggs. A 2 km one which hatches into a CP 69 Magikarp (he still doesn't have enough for a Gyarados) and a 5 km one which hatches into a CP 577 Farfetch'd stand out.

The next day Nyx finds a CP 122 Beedrill and gets another egg at a Poke Stop, this one a 5 km one. Aside from that though, he catches a bunch of Pidgey and Rattata, but since he's still a fresh-faced newbie that doesn't bother him so much, as he's trying to get enough for a Pidgeot and a Raticate, respectively. He also meets another person playing the game at a nearby park, a guy named cr47t. The two of them discussed the fact they both had the same starter, and also discussed which teams they wanted to join when they reached level 5.

 

Instinct!

Lord CowCow starts off with a CP 57 Bulbasaur, unlike most people. He names the Bulbasaur Arthur and decides he wants to catch enough Bulbasaur to get a Venusaur. However, the rest of the day he doesn't find any Bulbasaur and instead finds a CP 19 Caterpie on his pizza. Later on, walking around with his cousin, he finds multiple "common" Pokemon such as Pidgey and Rattata. They end up stopping at a nearby park, grabbing hot dogs from a vendor, and notice another pair of people (Nyx and cr47t) on their smartphones, avidly discussing future teams. He takes that moment to announce that he's choosing Instinct.

 

Oooh. I like where this is going.

 

Feel free to include my Jynx named Corner, if you feel like it.

The next day, Fushi No Tori vows to take his gyms back from this Gadjiltron Instinct guy, but unfortunately the person is more than ten levels higher than him. While thinking that over, he meets Desman Black in person, who is trying valiantly to fight off Gadjiltron's Victreebell with his Charmander. Fushi no Tori joins in with his Jynx named Corner, and together the duo manage to defeat one of Gadjiltron's gyms. However, they still have many more to go, and they're running low on Potions. So they decide to increase their trainer level by use of lucky eggs and catching more Pokemon. Fushi No Tori manages to capture a CP 170 Krabby.
