Tinkerer
When this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle, or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: You can target 1 monster they control; destroy that target, then you can Special Summon 1 "Ice Hand" from your Deck. When this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle, or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: You can target 1 Spell/Trap Card they control; destroy that target, then you can Special Summon 1 "Fire Hand" from your Deck. So, I was curious on people's thoughts on these and their relation to the level of powercreep in the game.
Snatch Steal
A couple cards in Dragons of Legend were power creeped, e.g. Mathematician, Soul Charge, Kuribandit, and Wiretap. That pack alone changed the entire game state. Not to mention that these cards had use all the way up to The Secret Forces to get past Naturia Beast in Nekroz. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Sucks, but now they're just really slow. I also hate drawing into more than one. Oh yeah, there was also a build that used Prominence Hand, which is cool.
BatMed
oh, it's been awhile since I've seen those in a Duel. I was about to forget them. They are good tho, but not that powerful.
Βyakuya
These cards were revolutionary floaters that were a cornestone in HAT format for a short bit before DUEA powercreep and now these are almost never seen except for float-type stun decks. Those kinds of decks are a bit more defensive and rely on multiple turns, but since the Demise builds are more popular, these aren't seeing much play now. Still, they are very good and yet very annoying to deal with and they are generally great cards.
Zauls
They're too reactive to be effective in the current game and they're far too easy to play round. Also they're absolutely awful against both BA and Kozmo for obvious reasons.
