Extra is weird, and perhaps my trap layout is also odd. Unsure which THs should be here in what number.

Want to optimize this for when Burgesstomas release, aside from obvious budget restraints.

Will replace 2nd wave Bugess with more engine card (Kuribandit, Shapesister, more of the 1st Wave) until 2nd comes out.

Instead of Instant Fusion, I would just replace them with Oasis and cut down a Void Trap (or two), a Nightmare, and a Nepentes with 3 Card of Demise. Demise gives you significant consistency, max backrow protection, and compliments with Call and Oasis plays during your opponent's turn. I highly recommend it along with x3 Pot of Duality down the line. Void Trap is the weakest Trap Hole since it can't deal with Monarchs, and doesn't stop against weaker removal monsters.

There's no good use for Foolish except for Call fodder currently and seems like an unhelpful -1. It would have only seemed a little better if you ran Plague.

As some dumb techs to consider, Naturia Sacred Tree to cycle with Dionaea and Myrmeleo? Red Resonator for Coral Dragon/Charge plays as well as potential Herald plays? Though it can conflict with Demise.

You might want to look out for things like Drowning Mirror and/or Strike for further protection as they are stronger than Trap Holes in general.

Trade out Amaterasu and 101 for Utopia and Lightning. You might be fine swapping a Herald with another Treatoad to increase better negation presence.

god, i really wish

probably gonna swap instant for oasis i guess but if im putting in oasis id rather actually have a way to make it live outside of having a monster + it dying (Foolish)

-1 Anomalocaris

+1 Opabinia

You really can get through those Opabinas.

this is something i'd have to test myself. searching 3+ times seems a little excessive but i'll see. keeping this in mind.

Id actually ditch treatoad, since burgs cant go to grave. Due to this, you either need Imperial iron wall to make toad live, which makes bth dead, or just ditch toad altogether. With that said, more opa, less toad.

...treatoad tributes itself then puts itself back. it turns 2 burgs into a pseudo-laggia that hits effects vs summons

Where's Card of Demise?

this is like THE deck to run it in.

I don't mean to sound rude with this, trust me, but people need to start reading the damn topic. I would run it if I could afford it, but $17 a piece is not going to work at all for me. I know "you shouldn't play the deck if you don't have the best cards for it" or whatever, but in this case, a barrier like that for 3 cards that, while, yes, make the deck a shitton better, but aren't necessarily needed for it, I feel I can comfortably ignore it until the card goes down to a price level I can afford.

It can also send Opabinias. I don't know about this deck, since it is rather reactive, but my 'zoic deck (which runs traps that are less conditional to activate) can make Opabinia then hop from that search into Treatoad. The card is honestly very much at home in Paleozoics, considering that you can make some very strong fields like Treatoad + Backrow with ease. I don't main IIW
