Thank God for these men.  Their sacrifices don't deserve to be in vein.  The fact that they were out marching with us, trying to keep the peace, and can still look back and forgive us after all the hell they've been through, speaks volumes.  I hope relations between blacks and police can improve to the point that we don't have to fear anymore.

Well said. I think the fact Dallas cops were supporting the protest, to the point there was at least one picture taken showing cops and a protestor standing with each other, also speaks volumes.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/07/12/us/wnba-minnesota-lynx-black-lives-matter-shirts/index.html I am putting this here for one line in particular.

"Moore praised the Dallas police for its training and other efforts to lower officer-involved shootings, according to WCCO."

The fact the Dallas Police Department, along with others, such as Baltimore, Denver, even Chicago and L.A., are trying to fix things, whether it's through meetings (LAPD Chief met with Snoop Dogg and The Game), overhauling the deadly force, (Chicago and Baltimore), or whatever, while a national change has not happened yet, various police departments across the country are trying to fix things.

These bad cops, the ones who harras, beat up, and kill, they are a disgrace. A disgrace to the men and women of law enforcement that actually want and try to make a difference(and this Pennsylvania cop is among them), and they are especially a disgrace to the men and women of law enforcement who've made the ultimate sacrifice.

There is still hope that relations between police and the community will improve, and even small things like this goes a long way.

Did you know that the man behind the Dallas Police force (Chief David Brown) started his career as chief by firing like 70 something cops?  All of them were proven corrupted, had a history of use of excessive force, and were just generally shitty human beings.  That's why the DPD has such an outstanding relationship with minorities and its citizens in general.  If every department cracked down on this, relations between minorities and citizens to police officers would drastically improve.

No, I didn't. Now that I know, Chief Brown should set an example for all law enforcement across the country.

Most of these cops involved in these controversial cases usually do have a history of complaints and excessive force. If more of them got fired, everyone would benefit.
