[Archetype] Touhou Fairies

Touhou's always been one of my favorite game series, so I decided to make my first deck around them. The touhou fairies are part of a much bigger archetype I'll try making someday, touhou in general.

 

Anyways, I've never been very good at balancing or wording in yugioh so help is appreciated. Now, here are the fairies (minus clownpiece, and with a guest appearance from Letty)

 

MONSTERS

Our first monster is the classic Cirno. She can special summon herself from the hand if you have a Letty on the field or a Daiyousei in the grave. She also introduces us to the Touhou's gimmick: Grabbing a spell/trap with their name on it from the deck and putting it in your hand. Cirno's the strongest fairy, which is... not very strong, actually. However, her spells are quite good (maybe too good?), as we'll see later.

Daiyousei may look weak and, well, she is. However, she can special summon herself if you have any fairy-type on the field, and gains 400 ATK for each of them on the field and grave. She's also the only Touhou girl not to be able to get a spell.

She can  bring out a cirno, which could be quite useful. She will almost always need a tribute thhough, as she's not special summoned by almost anything else.

Can destroy one set spell/trap, which is an alright effect. There's only one card that has Lily Black in it's description, and summoning a Lily White could be helpful.

Extremely similar to Lily Black. Removes a field spell, and the rest is pretty much the same.

And now we get to the gadgets. All of the three fairies of Light have great effects, and can search the others out. Luna has targetting negation on your monsters.

Star's effect lets you take a peek at what the opponent's hiding with her sensory abilities. Gives you knowledge, pretty much.

Last but not least, Sunny has the same effect as Luna, only on your spell/traps.

Now for the fusions. First off, we have pretty much a combination of all three previous cards, with the extra effect of destroying one card from the hand, deck and field each.

Can be a heavy-hitter with that 2600 ATK after it's effect, and can destroy two of the opponent's cards.

Why yes, I did include Advent Cirno in this! This is the deck's strongest card. Beyond Cirno's effect, it can also negate other card's effects and banish them, along with a 900 ATK boost.

 

SPELLS

Letty's only Spell (although she does have a trap). It can be useful if the opponent's deck is one of those that focuses on a single, strong monster to win.

One of the most famous spell cards si the series, now as a... well... Spell card. Pretty much a Raigeki with a few limitations balanced by a second utility.

Freezes two of the opponent's spell/traps in place, pretty much wasting two of his backrow spaces unless he destroys them himself.

This one just destroys all spell/traps on your opponents side of the field, as long as you control one of the fusions.

Fairies don't stay dead, they respawn after a while.

The field that'll be in all touhou decks. It strenghthens your monsters and has a couple of other neat effects as well.

TRAPS

A classic mechanic in the games, pretty much a buffed sakuretsu armor.

And finally, what separates Gensokyo from the outside world, the great hakurei barrier, made to protect Gensokyo and it's inhabitants.

 

 

 

So, what did you think? I know it probably wasn't very good, but I'd like to hear your opinions.
