idk if this question makes sense but what kind of renders do you like to make things with? Any specific looks or any traits you like them to have? (Besides good quality and stuff like that)

 

Good render flow, ease of use (easy to use in the sense of design and placement) that sort of stuff (in addition to quality etc)

How does one determine those things when looking at renders? (suddenly turning this into a lesson apparently)

Whilst this doesn't appear to be a render it is (it saved poorly) but do you see the amount going on? There are loads of little details that are incredibly difficult to work with and thus make it a, If the "monster" was on it's own it would be a different story, however as it stands it is difficult to use. If used properly it could be a decent piece but it is difficult to work with.

This on the other hand is very clean and you can more or less do whatever you want with it.

 

Renders may not be the best example but you get the idea.

 

 

Do you hit whippersnappers with your cane?
