Maxesmose
This has been worrying you for a while now. At first, it was just something that I thought about every now and then, but really didn't think about it too much. Now that Devpro has been taken Down AFTER Duel Network was literally shanked into the Deep Web, I want to know if it's possible for Duel Portal to go offline because of a cease and desist order? I find it unlikely to happen since Konami nor the company that does the shanking on their behalf own the Cards or Images used to make those cards (For the most part). Blake
It's possible. However, it's unlikely, given that it's not a super well known program.
cr47t
What I'm really worried about is if YCM gets shanked or shutdown because of hosting/promoting DP. TBH though, I don't know the possibility/probability of that.
Sluggaholic
nah the site's too sheet honestly, YCM's more likely to get the gnomami shaft

Flash Flyer - Sakura
Probably means that if YCM gets into any legal trouble, YCMaker will likely shut down this site instead of dealing with court things. As Black mentioned, the possibility of Duel Portal being shut down is a possibility, but as it's not really promoted much outside of this site, it should be safe for now. Aside from a few generics, most of the content there is member-made (some don't have images).
Sluggaholic
Are you guys serious rn? Have you never heard the idiom of "getting the shaft"? I guess I can explain that to the best of my ability. - - - - - Getting the "shaft", or being d1cked is the same thing as being screwed over, AKA having the situation turned against you so bad to the point where it can't be fixed. This is often done by a people or persons out to ruin whatever it is you enjoy. The idiom is quite often used in the United States, and is used in spiteful moments where people are very bitter at their circumstances, or are very, very angry. - - - - - tl;dr Basically saying that you "got the shaft" at something means you got funked over. (GigaDrillBreaker)
YCM won't be shut down for promoting duel portal. That is just silly. Duel Portal may be shut down, and there are grounds for it to. There is no such grounds for YCM.
Neochu-H
yes dp will get shut down because we used anime character images that nihon ad systems don't own so they will take legal action against us and win even more money that they aren't getting

Also I would assume DuelPortal is far too small for anyone to remotely care about it...
SANDAA BORUTO
Instead of being an jabroni and saying "it sucks, that's why it won't get shut down" (because that's not true), I'll be realistic and say what will keep DP from being shut down is exactly its whole premise: Custom cards. No one said it sucks, and I doubt anyone would dare to based on the fact that seatellite managed to bring it up basically on his own. All that was said is that it's too small for Konami or a legal partner of theirs to care about it.

They'll pay attention to everything and address it (As long as it affects the players in a negative way).
Blake
Or you could just not... be a dickhead beating a dead horse? It's too tiny to care. And not everything they do is to punish players. Nevermind that it wasn't even Konami that did the takedowns =x Instead of being an jabroni and saying "it sucks, that's why it won't get shut down" (because that's not true), I'll be realistic and say what will keep DP from being shut down is exactly its whole premise: Custom cards. As for you... I didn't say it sucked, as did no one else, but anyone who says such is in their right to do so. It's a poor client with bad connectivity that can't even be used on one of the two most common browers. There are a funk ton of issues with it. "Instead of being an jabroni", actually pay attention to threads and don't pick fights that you are naturally going to lose.
