Destiny HERO is garbage

Red Rising might look dope

Abyss Actor I have no opinion on

Galaxy-Eyes is basically Full-Armor 2.0.

ehhh

u fookin wot

The Destiny Hero is really funking good. D-HERO + Dark means Shadow Mist. It then mills Malicious/sets up shenanigans.

It just encourages HERO/Tele-DAD esque decks, and it's hardly bad, just impractical at present. It also synergizes well with Dystopiaguy, for what that's worth.

all of these cards are genuinely fine, unless final versions ruin them somehow. You can also Cipher Blade on top of Full Armor for multiple removals after stealing something.

Cipher sounds like a letdown (however still decent), considering it cannot be used as xyz mat (though that would have been stuppid).

Dandy might be decent, comes down to how effective actors can fill the extra deck.

Red Rising might be cool, assuming it works on its Synchro Summon ... e.g. going for red resonator into synchro fusionist, summoning armory arm or herald (especially herald), searching instant fusion, using it to summon norden -> rising -> hot red to work with herald or scar to go for abyss (with synclone resonator).

D.H. Deadly sounds like

Destiny HERO is garbage

that is the term I was looking for.

Cipher Blade exists so you can still Xyz Change under Raptor, which was a smart move, but I wish it could have overlayed on anything named "Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon".

Depending on exactly what its last effect does, Rising may be what finally ties Jack.dek together. Now if only the restriction was just to ED summons.

Deadlyguy is a Godsend.

Dandy really depends on whether the 1 and 8 Scales turn out good.

Oh, I never saw the milling part. Meh, it still sucks cause you need to run a f***ing fusion card when Grepher already does its job perfectly and contributes to R4. Yeah this thing can help with Beatrice and leaves the extra Malicious alone but in all honesty recovery plays are meh in the deck outside of R4s anyways.

Konami wants D-HERO to be a Fusion Deck now. That's just how it is.

That's not how this works.

An easily searchable fusion card (RotA/Blazeman) that gives you a Level 6 body, a likely search off of Shadow Mist, buffs every hero you control with a permanent stat buff, and sets up Mezuki.

You don't need to "Set up R4" when you can just forego R4. It's not even amazing without Chain, anyway, outside of Castel and Utopia.

It's not a bad card in any shape or form. We have yet to see all the new Destiny Hero support, but Decisionguy already makes a bit of a case for Deadlyguy in its own right, not to mention Malicious itself, which is not a fair card even now.

Sucks that Malicious is like the ONLY real move it has.

Mind you, I'm speaking in terms of how it pairs with it's own Archetype; Malicious is the only thing that can honestly benefit off it.

It's neat that Deadly gives Dystopia a friend, at least.

I like Red Rising a lot. It would make me really happy if Resonators managed to become a legit deck, especially given that Synchrons have been a thing for a while. Assuming that last effect revives a Resonator or a tuner or something, it looks like a damn good card.

No clue about the Actor dude, looks pretty meh but scale 8 is nice.

Cipher Blade is good certainly, but holy hell that effect is boring. Detach one to destroy, and revive something on death... that's super generic and I wish it had something more Galaxy-Eyes-y.

Lunalight Black Sheep in D-HERO?

Also pointing out, since no one said it, that the ATK gain is permanent. Not that that'd matter too much.

buffs every hero you control with a permanent stat buff

cough

Black Sheep would be cute if it could target itself/any material, but.

Number 402: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Cipher Blade Wing Utopia Dragon

LIGHT / Rank 10

Dragon/Xyz/Effect

5 Level 10 LIGHT monsters

You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Galaxy-Eyes", "Utopia", "Shark", "Dog", or "Cyber Dragon" Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) This card cannot be used as Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon.

Once per turn, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card, then target 2 "Number" monsters in either Graveyard; Special Summon 1 of them to your side of the field, and if you do, equip it with the other as an equip card that increases the ATK of the equipped monster by the ATK of the monster it is equipped with. If this card is removed from the field, destroy all cards on the field. Then, both players can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from there Decks. You can Banish 3 other "Number" monsters from your Graveyard: Special Summon this card(from the Graveyard), and if you do, attach the top card of your Deck to this card as Xyz Material. Non-"Number", "Photon" monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's card effects.

ATK 4500 / DEF 4000

Deadly is a good addition to the D-HERO arsenal. Means you actually have a chance to trigger Dystopia without it being sheet, while milling stuff you want in the grave. It even opens up more R6nk options, which is nifty. If they actually more decent support, they may be a thing to watch.

Red Rising Dragon, huh? I'm guessing the Tuner has to be DARK, the effect activates on Synchro Summon to revive a Resonator and I think the final effect is a destruction effect? Regardless, being able to summon a Tuner while being DARK Dragon-type is just so awesome as it opens up the various Hot Reds being easier to summon as well as Crystal Wing (Providing it survives the turn).

I first read the Abyss Actor's Pendulum effect as searching from the Main Deck, which would have been sweet, but still ain't bad. So the monster effect can let you perform a sort of secondary Pendulum Summon? Nice if your Pendulum summon gets Solemn'd, NS this guy and bring back the strongest guy killed.

Cipher Blade is so boring, don't even want to discuss it.

Dasher and Dynamiteguy would like a word.

Also Disk Commander but he's completely irrelevant unless he gets an errant or something

What set are these confirmed for?

V-Jump is doing something special for the next issue. It's not really a set

Red Resonator  -> Summon Stratos/Mist ->Add Mali/MC-> Red Rising -> Summon Red Resonator ->Gain back more than half of AHL cost-> get back Stratos/Mist when you feel like it later

Damn it, Konami...now I wanna build Heroes

I'm just waiting for the TCG to put Stratos to one. Then I can sell my single copy online for some good cash.

In other news, I now await the day V-Jump will do a promo series for the Joey-esque characters, and we get Red-Eyes, Roid, Blackwing or T.G, Shark and Superheavy Samurai support.

Cause all of those would be awesome.

I mean, do you REALLY want that though. Stratos at 1 lead to Shadow Mist getting limited as well in OCG (and that's unlikely to change cause heros have the really stupid knack of getting top 8 at nats no matter how much you hit em)

So which do you prefer one of each, or 3 Mist?

Also Stratos can function as a Harpie's Feather Duster (and often does after the initial search). TCG's entire list is based off the assumption that Duster/Heavy aren't needed in the game. Stratos is likely never coming back in TCG unless OCG merges with TCG

Of note, this is a mirror to a pack from 2 years ago.

That pack contained:

D/D/D Oblivion King Abyss Ragnarok

Superheavy Samurai Shutendoji

Frightfur Tiger

Raidraptor - Force Strix

Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer

so far, these don't seem to be on the power level of... EVERY MONSTER in that pack, but still seem good. Final translations/reveals for D-HERO and Abyss Actor shall show us.

So the (???) For red rising dragon means it wont be generic?, its a shame its effect doesnt allow you to summon crystal wing, it would have been nice to summon it outside of utlimaya.

Destiny hero may be not garbage for some but its impractical (unless they get a fusion spell that fuses from deck) on a deck with no ED space, very dissapointed on the d hero support, konami isnt making any efforts on making at least decent.
