This is the application thread for my new Pokemon RP 'Pokemon Ghinko: Rise Against the Vexus'.

 

Here is a breakdown of the story: You are a trainer that has joined XENOS, a rebel group who is fighting the evil crime sndicate Team Vexus. You have joined XENOS to stop Team Vexus' plan of turning all the world's Pokemon into evil Dark Pokemon. It is NOT a Pokemon adventure.

Twiglee, the Young Sap Pokemon

Twiglee are very hardy Pokemon, able to withstand the height of living on a mountain. From birth, these Pokemon are trained in combat. When it begins evolution, rocks will begin to grow on its arms in order to help with focusing its punches.

Branchape is the evolved form of Twiglee. Since it evolved, hard rocks have formed on its arms to help with focusing its punches. Although these rocks weigh more than 300 pounds, its punches are lightning quick.

Treeila, the Barricade Pokemon

Treeila is the final evolved form of Twiglee. After its evolution from a Branchape, the rocks on its arms have fallen off to maximize the speed of its punches. Through intense training, Treeila's limber arms can shatter large boulders and split mountains.

Petiray, the Small Ray Pokemon

Petiray are small sea snake. Since they are born blind, hours after birth whiskers form on the side of their face to help them 'see' their surroundings. This Pokemon's skull is rock-hard since its only means of attack after birth is attacking with its skull.

Mediray, the Ocean Scout Pokemon

Mediray is the evolved form of Petiray. The whiskers have grown into avid feelers, which help this Pokemon taste food before eating it. Since it is no longer blind, its skull has grown softer and a horn has formed on its head. The casing on its tail is to cover a growing stinger.

Grandray, the Ocean Ravine Pokemon

Grandray is the final evolved form of Petiray. This Pokemon is a distant relative of the Pokemon Arbok, which explains the similar markings on its belly. The wings on its back serve no purpose except to help prepel this Pokemon through the water; they are not capable of flight. Its stinger has formed and its horn has turned into a hard crown.

Charlyne, the Open Flame Pokemon

Charlyne is a small Fire-type tiger Pokemon. Although small in size, it can spew flames more than four times its size. These flames are capable of reaching temperatures of 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. When this Pokemon sleeps, the flame on its head engulfs its body to ward off attackers.

Syngat, the Torch Pokemon

Syngat is the evolved form of Charlyne. When angered, the flame on its tail becomes long and thin, enabling Syngat to use it like a whip. When it comes in contact with skin, it leaves a thin burn mark on the skin. Syngat is also skilled at climbing, being able to scale very tall trees.

Tygroar, the Inferno Pokemon

Tygroar is the final evolved form of Charlyne. The stripes on its back have finally formed. The heat that emanates from this Pokemon is so intense that even Fire-type Pokemon sweat. The fire that this Pokemon emits can reach temperatures of 8000 degrees Fahrenheit. When this Pokemon is ready to attack, the flame on its tail and head will go out.

Appearance:

History: Devin was born in Saffron City to Chris and Janessa Harrison. Devin's father was a Pokemon breeder and helped care for Pokemon left by trainers. His mother was a reporter who traveled all over the world. When Devin was 11, his mother lost her job as a reporter. Devin's aunt offered Devin's mom a job over in the Ghinko Region. Janessa quickly accepted and Devin moved from Kanto to Ghinko.

 

When Devin was in Ghinko, he became a Pokemon trainer at the age of 12. He received the Pokemon Charlyne and loved it much. Devin defeated the Ghinko league in 3 years. He became League Champion at the age of 16, but stepped down in order to pursue travelling. As Devin was returning home one day, his Charlyne now fully evolved into a Tygroar, was jumped by two thugs. Tygroar fought back, but was quickly subdued and carried off. Tygroar had been kidnapped. One week later, Devin saw Tygroar on a chain leash, being led to a building. Devin called out the Pokemon's name. Sure enough, the Tygroar broke the chain and ran towards Devin and licked him. Devin, ecstatic that his Pokemon was okay, ordered Tygroar to attack. With one Flamethrower, the two thugs ran off. After this incident, Devin heard news of similar situations like his. He formed the group XENOS in order to combat this upcoming threat.

Personality: Devin is very secluded, usually only around his three Pokemon: Tygroar, Garchomp, and Lucario. He is very close to his family, but has very few friends. He is often quiet, usually speaking only when needed to. Despite his quiet and unnoticed appearance, Devin is very observant of his surroundings and is very intelligent. He is also a skilled trainer.

As the story progresses, I will assign certain missions to certain people. These missions are to be carried out as you see fit. However, please not that you cannot win every single battle. Also, before the story is over, your starter Pokemon must be stolen and retrieved at least ONCE. Here are also a few more notes.....in bullet form....^_^:

• Pokemon know all of their moves. Egg moves, TMs and HMs, and Level up moves.
  
• Pokemon are able to gain levels. At the end of each post, if you choose to participate in battle, each Pokemon that participated will gain one level. Each Pokemon will be able to gain a maximum of 3 levels per post.
  
• Your Pokemon may not gain levels until your 5th post.
  
• Pokemon evolve at their respective levels. Please refer to the list to see when your starter Pokemon evolves.
  
• After your Pokemon's final evolution, you may choose NOT to continue to gain levels. You may still participate in battles, but you do not need to post the level gain. After a Pokemon's final evolution, their level may be treated as Lv.100, but you do not need to post that. Just put, at the bottom of your post where your Pokemon evolves into its final form '*insert Pokemon name here* will not continue to gain levels'. After you choose this option, it cannot be undone.

 

Also, this is how you post how your Pokemon gained levels. I will use Devin's team as an example:

History (detail please): Anthony was born in Heartrome City. His mom was a Gym Leader there, and he didn't have a father. When Anthony was 9, his mother retired the Gym to another respectable trainer and then moved to the Tohmber Region. When he turned 10, he became a trainer and received his first Pokemon, Twiglee, which was a brand new pokemon unknown to the Tohmber Region. He decided he wanted to beat the Pokemon League so he traveled through the Tohmber Region aquiring the badges needed to enter the league. He quickly beat the league within a year, and decided to travel the other regions of the world. He Soon, in the next 5 years, traveled through Kanto, Jhoto, Orange Islands, hoenn, and sinnoh region, beating all their Gym's and aquiring the title of Pokemon Champ in each of the respective regions. He soon learned of an unknown region known as the Ghinko Region. He traveled their with only his first companion, Twiglee.

 

After half his journey through the Ghinko Region, a couple of thugs took his twiglee and it seemed like all of life was over. He didn't see his Freind in over two weeks. Not until he heard of a factory, which was harboring stolen pokemon. He thought the chance of finding his friend there were slim but he had to check. He went there and found his companion, and they teamed up and battled the other trainers, and won. they have never been apart since.

 

Soon later, Anthony found a group of people who once in there past, there first companion were taken away. He vowed he'd never let those crooks take another trainer's companion, so he joined the group to find the thugs and stop them once in for all...

 

Personality (detail please): Very kind trainer, and a very loud mouth. He loves to talk to others and make friends. He feels friendship is the best kind of bond in life. And he has that friendship with his Pokemon.

A twelve-year-old Siegmund emerged, unharmed, but scared out of his wits, and unable to remember how he had gotten to Ghinko, or any events that had transpired before his arrival. The villagers offered him lodgings, and one family took him in. Siegmund accepted gratefully, living peacefully with the villagers and listening to legends of legendary Pokémon for several years. During this time, he was especially captivated by Deoxys, the Virus Pokémon from outer space, because he believed it may have something to do with his entry into the Ghinko region. However, four years later, the town's land was purchased by a mega-corporation, and the villagers were forced to move to cities across Ghinko. Since Siegmund was unwilling, he lived in a nearby forest with the help of the resident Pokémon. Since then, he has become a master diplomat. When Team Vexus attacked the forest, Siegmund came out of hiding, stealing a Petiray from their transport. However, the Petiray was young, so Siegmund was unable to save the forest Pokémon that he had symbiotically existed alongside for three years. Furious, he sought XENO to free the soulless Dark Pokémon from Vexus. He was welcomed with open arms, and is now one of their most powerful assets.

He is curious as to how he came into the Ghinko Region, and seeks Deoxys for this reason.

History: Scoty is the Great Grand Son of Profeser Oak(You can kind of see the conection between him & Gary). Scotty didn't want to be like his father. He actualy wanted to be like his arch enemy, Ash, & like his Grampa. Every weekend, he would go to Pallet Town to help Oak. One day,he, alone, made a very special discovery. If you cross breeded 2 Pokémon, the baby would look like the 2 parents in one. He decided to call this Splicing. He opened a Pokémon Daycare Center for baby spliced Pokémon, or SP, for short, at the age of 10. At the age 11, ☺ 2 Girls came in with a Water SP & a Grass SP. One was a Splice of Turtwig & Bulbasaur, Blbatwig, & 1 a Toadadile & Mudkip, Mudadile. They waned to help. Scotty & the 2 girls, May & Winnie, became very good friends. Some people say that That May * Winnie have a liking for Scott(You'll find out in the RP's mid- end). Now the duo are
