This is a pretty major breakthrough, but we're still a lot of testing away from any further developments. Aerion Brightflame Posted July 6, 2016 Report Share Posted July 6, 2016 There's probably better non invasive cancer treatment methods on the rise: I know of at least one other, Magnetic nanoparticles which basically burn tumours using osculating magnetic field. It's fantastic. There's a lot of innovative cancer treatments on the rise, as well as better screening, better identification of cells that cause underlying mutations. A tonne of stuff that's better than Chemo. It's just Cancer is not one type of tissue, or one condition, it is a massive range of things. So it's an amazing breakthrough if it can go through to trials (Though high intensity UV's in the treatment is... risky), but we still need more options.
