Pokemon Ghinko: Rise Against the Vexus (Now open for RPing!)

The Ghinko Region. Home to many people and Pokemon who live harmoniously and work together to acheive a greater good. But underneath all of this peace and prosperity, a great evil lurks in the darkness, waiting for its cue to rule the world.

 

Team Vexus, an evil organization that was originally under the control of Team Rocket. However, the leader of Team Vexus said that Team Rocket was bossing them around for the last time. And thus, Team Vexus became its own crime syndicate.

 

There have been numerous reports of Pokemon being stolen by Team Vexus members. These same Pokemon then reappeared, only evil and heartless. Investigation has uncovered that these Pokemon are known as Dark Pokemon and have had their souls stolen as a result of a process called Spirit Channeling. Team Vexus uses artificial means of 'turning off' a Pokemon's soul in order for them to become tools of war.

 

One day, an innocent trainer named Devin Harrison was walking down Route 313. He was jumped by 2 Team Vexus Grunts and had his Tygroar stolen. One week later, Devin crossed paths with his Tygroar, now a Dark Pokemon. Devin managed to take back Tygroar and turn on its soul again. After this incident, Devin created a rebel group known as XENO in order to combat Team Vexus. The fight still wages on........and Devin needs your help....

 

OVERVIEW

You are a trainer being recruited into XENO. Your task is to try to stop the cause of the conversion of Pokemon into Dark Pokemon.

OoC: I will start the RP off. Finally! We can begin this!

 

IC:

The wind howled in the darkness as Devin laid on the grass. Beside him, sound asleep, purring, was his trusty Pokemon Tygroar. He looked over and petted the large cat on its head. "It's nice to see that you're asleep," Devin said to himself. Tygroar rolled over and let out a fart that smelled and at the same time made the area extremely hot. Devin didn't mind; Tygroar had done it so many times before, that he was used to it.

 

Devin continued staring into the night sky when all of a sudden, Devin heard a young girl scream.

 

"Get away from me!" she cried out.

 

"Give me the Pokemon!" a deep male voice said. Devin rose from his position and woke up Tygroar. Tygroar let out a roar and perked to attention.

 

"Come on, Tygroar. We have work to do," Devin said. Devin began running towards the direction of the scream, followed by Tygroar. When Devin and Tygroar reached the little girl, she was on the ground crying.

 

"Bad men took my Chansey," she cried.

 

"Stay here. I'll get it back," Devin said. He ran in the direction the little girl pointed and caught up with two people, one with a Chansey in his arms.

 

"Mightyena! Shadow Ball!" one of them cried. He let out a Mightyena that faced Devin.

 

"Tygroar! You stay here and fight off Mightyena!" Devin commanded. Tygroar and Mightyena began to fight while Devin kept running. The wind picked up, making it harder for Devin and the running thug to keep their balance. Eventually, Devin and the thug fell down.

 

"Go! Absol!" the thug shouted. He let out an Absol, a large feline Pokemon that had a large horn on the side of its head that sweeped upward.

 

"Garchomp! Dragon Rush!" Devin cried. The large blue dragon came out of its ball and rushed at the Absol, sending it flying into the ground. Devin got up from the ground and tackled the thug. "Give me back the Chansey!" he shouted.

 

"O-okay! Don't hurt me!" the thug pleaded. Devin grabbed the Chansey and called back Garchomp. He ran back, with Chansey in his arms, to his still battling Tygroar. When Devin reached Tygroar, it was surrounded by 6 Pokemon.

 

"Your Pokemon is screwed now!" the other thug said.

 

"Tygroar! Blast Burn!" Tygroar released a large cyclone of fire that singed everything. The thug called back his Pokemon and ran to his friend. The two ran away saying "This isn't the last you'll see of Team Vexus!" Devin handed the Chansey back to the little girl, who was so happy to see her Pokemon okay.

 

"Thank you, mister," she said. She gave Devin and hug and ran off.

 

"All in a day's work," Devin said to himself. "Wanna go back to the XENOS base, Tygroar?" Tygroar let out a roar of approval, and the two walked back to the abandoned Pokemon center, the base of operations, XENOS, where Devin did his work.

 

When Devin walked in, he sat down on a couch. Tygroar had fallen asleep again. Devin then began to write letters. This is what they said:

I am Devin Harrison, leader of a group of Pokemon trainers known as XENOS. XENOS is an organization, consisted of Pokemon trainers, that combats the upcoming threat of Team Vexus, the newest crime syndicate in the Ghinko Region. Their task is to steal all of the world's Pokemon and convert them into evil Dark Pokemon so that they may control them and use them to rule the world.

 

I send you this letter because I wish to have you join me as a part of XENOS. You will be given a Pokemon and will be joined by other trainers who wish to stop this threat, just like me. Please...the world is at stake. Join XENOS and combat this evil.

Ryan, "Hmmm, a letter in the mail for me?" "Whoa it's from the cool new building!" (remember he is 12) "Team Vexus?" *goes into flash back* Wait a minute a know them! When I was with all the Trapinch, Vibrava, and Flygon! They thought the flygon was mine and tried to take it, they called out an odd pokemon, it looked like Rayquaza but... it was dark! I couldn't lost my new Flygon friend there if it wasn't for Charcraizard! I'm in this! they won't hurt another pokemon as long as I'm around!

[Guest Supreme Gamesmaster]

"Peti pet petiray ray?" Petiray asked Siegmund dubiously as they approached the run-down building. The cloaked young man examined a plaque near the door, and then looked up.

 

"This is the place, alright," he confirmed in his somewhat hoarse voice. "XENOS HQ. Not impressive, but... It should suit us nicely." He knocked on the door, recalling two things: his diplomacy in the forest, and the boy he had seen reading the XENOS recruitment letter.
