Traditional is probs all abortion...cause voted for against discrimination for Sexual Identity, for Gay Marriage, against Business Discrimination and for legalization of most Drugs

Which means Abortion is the only issue I'm traditional on *shrugs*

And not even there, I don't think the 3 exceptions is all that unfair

Answered everything, I feel like there were some important issues it didn't raise which would've dropped my Hilary% and that Jill Stein isn't f***ing relevant at all but we'll let sleeping dogs lie.

And sorry for massive formatting blackhole, highlight if you're curious I spose

seriously, why is it that nobody ever mentions her? people (or should i say the media) act as if hillary were the only female running for president, but clearly there's another one, and she's not even under scrutiny for breaking the law. not to mention, my political ideas apparently align with her far more than they do hillary (considering i went through every question available, that 4% difference is actually rather significant).

Because she doesn't really stand a chance tbh. If she did I would vote for her, but I like it better when my vote actually matters.

I personally would rather vote for the person i truly wanted to win than the person who stood a chance.

But that's a terrible way to vote. You are just begging for a lesser of two evils situation than one where something gets done.

Johnson won't win. Stein won't win.

Would you prefer Trump, or Hillary, because voting for either of the others will accomplish just as much as not voting.

This is one of the many reasons our election system is garbage.

It sucks, but it's true. The way the system is now, a third party will never win the election.

they won't win because nobody ever votes for them. you say the two party system sucks, but then you decide not to vote for the third party.

Expecting someone to make a potentially foolish (and wasted) vote in the hopes that everyone else with similar opinions will do the same is naive.

If the candidate I want is actually polling well, of course I will vote for them, but it is obvious that Stein is not going to win this election, unless there is a massive upset in the general direction. And if there is, I will vote for her. But when the polls are showing that she doesn't have that much support I'm not going to throw my vote away.

you have your standards and i have mine. you vote for the one who will keep the person you don't want out the office. i vote who i believe is the best candidate regardless of their chances. hopping ship isn't how i work.

Looks like both of us agree on how voting should be. If everyone voted for who they wanted instead of voting to keep someone out, then politics would have a chance to improve.

Improving politics is a noble goal, and it is certainly true that America needs election reform. But the thing is, that's a long-term goal. At the moment, I'd put keeping Trump out of office as a more immediate concern than reform.

If there wasn't a candidate quite as...Trump-y as him, I'd agree with you. But in this situation, I'm gonna vote for the one who has a chance to beat him. Admittedly, I don't think Clinton would be a horrible president, either, although I probably would want Stein more.
