Horrordude3
Hello everyone! So my introduction may seem weird, I have read the rules and well...I've had this account since 2010 (When I was 10 years old) I was always way too scared to post on forums and made silly cards. And well ever since then I haven't been on this website for nearly 5 years. I use to watch yugioh a lot as a child and didn't play a whole lot. Only recently I have been interested in yugioh again since last month. I bought Legacy of the Duelist on PS4 just a few weeks ago and I have been hooked on yugioh ever since. My favourite card? Tough question, one of them would have to be the Herald of Perfection, a card people love to use...and hate to play against. Favourite Archetype? Same sort of deal, Ghostrick, love to use, hate to be against. Hopefully I haven't broken rules by making an introduction on a 6 year old account.Thank you guys! Trebuchet MS
Welcome to YCM, and welcome back to playing Yugioh. Read the rules - but be aware there may be amendments in the near future. Go through the card design guide to get a basic idea of what we expect from seriously designed cards, and maybe get some game experience (online, for example) to get a grasp of the current game state. It's one of the best ways to get back up to speed after not playing for long enough. Anyway, enjoy your stay. I look forward to what you design. Trebuchet MS
YGOPro or Dueling Network are preferred methods. The former is automated so you don't get into arguments over ruling errors... but you also can't back out of misplays yourself. Dueling Network is all manual but also is a source of cringe with players who don't know better.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
Don't worry, I modified the rulebook so you can still make an intro even if the account has been unused for a long while after its creation. But yeah, welcome to YCM. As Gadjiltron mentioned, make sure you take a look at the general / section rules, but be warned that the former is getting a few revisions. If you need help, just PM a moderator or a veteran member if none of us are around. ----Have fun though and enjoy your stay :)
