It probably won't be who you'd pick, but you do these for the surprise, right? Of course you do. As of the 26th of March 2017, one can get waifus from seasons they've missed if they want to. One can now also get re-rolls, but only during the wrapping up or post wrapping up of a season (if you ask for re-rolls from a season you already got from, the waifus would definitely run out after all).
