LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I'm not entirely sure I can say the extreme left is "winning" seeing as I more often see things from them in the context of the right mocking the things they do. Arctic55
The Right has calmed down a lot since then though. It's really a matter of power and influence. When you're the party that is winning, your parties positions tend to get even more radical until things go way overboard. This happened during the Bush presidency, Republicans were winning and became an extreme version of themselves, prominent moderate Republicans lost their minds to their own ideals and became radical in months. Now it is the opposite, the Democrats have had 8 years on the top spot and a lot of public and media support. With this, they are now suffering the same symptoms that happened during Bush's run, they are beginning to radicalize and lose themselves to their own ideology. In a bid to "win" again, a lot of Republicans are now beginning to mellow down their positions towards more moderate facets. However, the republicans never were AS radical as the Democrats, and they NEVER had the same public and media support. Democrats get he majority of college graduate support right off the bat, this tends to be because of the major media and public support (also because college promotes democratic agendas, like somehow communism is big on colleges again). On the other hand, your point is somewhat valid, as both parties do lose their heads to an extent when in power, but the Democrats lose it more than the Republicans because a lot of times, their agenda goes way against what the country is (for example, banning guns, free college, taxing rich, and banning bossy). But I digress, that's off topic.

As for that...I kinda would like examples and proof rather than just "They totally do it more"......I feel I should say something about that last bit despite off topic. Seeing as what the country "is" is a place where voting and majority votes get the biggest say in things.
