Liberal College Students = Babies

This video addresses absolutely nothing that hasn't been discussed a million times on this forum, several times, in fact, in response to videos you posted. I don't think there's anything new to be said about this.

The video doesn't even load, but I probably know what it's about.

I feel like it's whiny to post this same concept over and over again with little variation.

If people keep acting like the people this video addresses, than it needs to keep being said.

Sure, I'll give you that, but saying it more on this forum isn't gonna help. Everyone who would weigh in on this discussion has already done so, sometimes multiple times. I can't remember anyone commenting in a thread on this subject agreeing with the hardcore "safe space" liberals. Any discussion in this thread would just turn into more of everyone (mostly) agreeing with each other. If the video itself was particularly unique, I could see it generating good discussion that hasn't been had before, but this won't.

EDIT: What Snatch Steal said. That's a simpler way of stating what I'm getting at.

...and on another note, the kid is a total jabroni about his approach.

"Wussification." what. that's. not a word.

I don't like the safe space trigger warnings, but I dislike this stupid-ass kid even more.

HURR DURR, GEE, GUYS, I'M GONNA BE RUDE TO AN ENTIRE DEMOGRAPHIC, LABELING THEM AS SOMETHING DESPITE NOT THE ENTIRETY OF THEM BEING THAT THING, AND BE LIKED BECAUSE OF MACHISMO AND BANDWAGONING!!!

like, come on. I get what he's saying, but he's saying it in a really poor way.

traumatized by opinions, and screaming "it's about creating a home" at a perfectly respectable dean over a perfectly respectable comment on his college campus. that's all that needs to be said about this. it's already been said, but yeah, if people don't stop doing it, then they won't stop hearing it.

I'm not gonna open that can of worms. So I'll just cede to your point.

As I said, that's just from my memory. I could have forgotten something, but regardless, the point still stands that the discussion has been had.

Note that I'm not saying this subject should never be brought up, because it IS a problem. I'm just saying it doesn't need to be brought up again here. Regardless, I'm extending this argument more than it needs to be extended, so this will probably be my last post in this thread.

Just cause the kid is being a jabroni, doesn't mean his message isn't 100% true

Just today a school district funking decided to hand out expulsions for kids who create "micro-aggression"

The pussyfication of America is happening one way or another

The fact that not everyone is outraged by this sorta happening IS the problem

Being a bystander is not helpful.

I wouldn't say 100% true honestly. It's more/less one extreme complaining about the other extreme.

Ironically both extremes have basically the same methods, while saying the other extreme is bad for the methods they use.

I mean, TECHNICALLY the SJW's are really the Left's version of the Tea Party. A really loud, radical, and obnoxious minority political movement that somehow gains a shitton of power and influence for some odd reason.

Extreme right and extreme left are both equally bad, but some people here seem to ignore how equally bad the extreme right on here. Just my two cents.

The Right has calmed down a lot since then though. It's really a matter of power and influence. When you're the party that is winning, your parties positions tend to get even more radical until things go way overboard. This happened during the Bush presidency, Republicans were winning and became an extreme version of themselves, prominent moderate Republicans lost their minds to their own ideals and became radical in months. Now it is the opposite, the Democrats have had 8 years on the top spot and a lot of public and media support. With this, they are now suffering the same symptoms that happened during Bush's run, they are beginning to radicalize and lose themselves to their own ideology. In a bid to "win" again, a lot of Republicans are now beginning to mellow down their positions towards more moderate facets.

People like Bill O'Reily, Greg Gutfield, and even funking ANN COULTER, have all begun to present their opinions in a more nuanced way than they did before. It helps that the Right is beginning to reform itself with Milo Yiannopoulis making the Right more appealing to a younger generation.

It's a cycle, every time a party wins, they radicalize. Trust me, if Donal Trump wins, 4 years down the line the Republicans are gonna lose their minds again. It always happens.

I used to be very worried about the Right. Now I am more worried about the Left right now.

So basically, it's a cycle.

Both sides worry me, tbh. I admit, I lean a little bit to the left, but I'm not hard left. The main concern I have is how freakin big the divide is between the two, so nothing ever gets done.

That is also something that happens, and is why the Left is worrying me more right now.

A lot of Left leaning people are deliberately ignoring the problem because they are the Left. When a side radicalizes, a lot of the moderates usually hide their eyes refusing to believe their political side has gone bonkers, this is why these small, vocal, radicals take power; because the moderates won't oppose them out of fear of being considered an enemy of their own beliefs. Basically "You're either with us, or against us".

I'm a Castro Socialist. I am very Left leaning, and even I admit we have a serious problem on our hands. The Left needs to sit down and realize, and address these nonsensical radicals running rampant on College campuses and in Congress. If we don't, we will lose support from many independents and then NOTHING will get done.

the worst part about the pendulum is that it's swinging too far. each side has been growing worse per respective term. if it keeps up, then we won't need ISIS or daesh to kill us, because we'll destroy ourselves (not like BOOM! destroy, but more like burning down the things that hold this country together).
