It also can be set up as a nice, juicy attack target.

 

Yeah; just as I had stated prior.

But the problem is that none of the other cards really help in that regard.

Yeah; really, there's only about three at best that can be good, and even so, they don't really advance the archetype all that much.

Oh. Sorry. Didn't see that.

I'm at least happy that D-Fusion allows for Destiny End Dragoon to be made.

Plus, we're getting a LV6 Fusion in this new Rivals pack, so it might help.

Plus, all of these guys are Mask Change targets for Anki and Dark Law.

But that's really it. You're better off Summoning it with Polymerization.

I just wish Koomy would make cards that actually worked, instead of making a pack whose headliners, the Destiny HEROs, are pretty garbage.

But maybe there's a card in there that will make it all come together.

Honestly, what would have made D-Fusion so much better would be if it was just a straight-up Miracle Fusion. I mean, D-HEROs honestly don't even do anything, nor would they ever do, but throwing them a bone(IE, letting you Miracle Fusion for Dragoon) would at least be something.

Diamond Dude decks are a thing, sure, but they aren't all that gamebreaking/I'm ignoring them, for the sake of this post.

Yes; it's not enough to make a full Destiny HERO Deck. Or even making the Fusion Spell Card like Shaddoll Fusion, Odd-Eyes Fusion, or the Red-Eyes Fusion card.

Drillguy and decision guy seem okay. Slow and restrictive but okay. They have the potential to be useful in the future, because they are at least an attempt to give the archetype some cohesion. 

 

Because Destiny Heroes needed some cohesion, beyond being vaguely british and vaguely controlling. Everything else seemed to suck or to be too average to bother using.

Looking at Dystopia guy I seen it can be quite effective with Forbidden Lance and robe as it triggers its effects while returning its ATK back to 2800 after it was reduced by lance and Robe.

But that means you end up spending three cards for a scenario that appears rarely in a convoluted manner.

I was thinking of something along those lines as well, but didn't want to say anything because I didn't think it'd be worth it.

Ever had the honor of opening Multiple Mali?

 

I tried Mali after OCG unlimited it cause

 

Stratos->Wendigo

 

Wendigo+Mali=Beatrice

 

but it's cute and honestly pretty bad

I think we've had enough Metalphosis tbh

 

More-so just saying that Metalphosis is pretty well-designed and functions very well, while these are just... bleh...

I dunno, Metals were about as close to generic functional scales are we're likely to get. I personally found the impact they're having/had on the game pretty abysmal

 

That being said, you can pretty confidently say the power level between the two is drastic. Maybe Disk Commander is getting an errata or just being unbanned in October? Or Stratos/Mist is moving up? There's more variables here to consider
