Decided on x6 Mirror Force shenanigans over Kozmo for nats bc there's no way I make it through a field of Monarchs and mirrors

First time playing Doll which is so good idk why I never considered it. Might try to make room for a Menko/2nd Taketomborg, bc opening multiple Roids/the single Taketomborg is definitely a thing

Come July I won't have played for two months, so I'm assuming Kozmo/Monarchs/BA will still be the top contenders, so I'm siding with that in mind, please tell me what's the newest fashion in yugi

I'm guessing this is one of those "They thought I was crazy, then they saw my masterpiece" kind of deals?

I'd do something more with Needle Ceiling, which is already a good card outside of this Deck.

The newest fashion is indeed Kozmo/BA/Monarchs. Card of Demise is also really good, since it lets put up anywhere from 3-5 floodgates and still have a monster on board. It works with Yosenju, since they can resolve it Card of Demise first and then return everything to the hand so they essentially lost nothing, Qliphort because the Deck is slow as funk, and I've even see Kozmo do it thanks to Tincan.

You could even consider Card of Demise in this Deck.

I'm not sure how prone you are to floodgates, so I'd not be wholly concerned, given 2 Twin Twister.

Also, I'd advise Swords of Concealing Light, since it not only plays into the Deck's theme well, but it also helps you get past Majesty's Fiend without targeting and out Domain.

So how do you go about winning, may I ask? Do you just wait til they have like 5 monsters, then bury and trample?

Have you considered Neko lock considering you're already playing Night and Burying x3? Could help in a situation where your only play left is Angel wincon (a rare circumstance to be sure, but not unheard of)

Needle Ceiling seems kinda bad against Kozmo and BA, I side it in for Water, Pendulum, rogue, and maybe Monarchs.

Card of Demise is interesting in a lot of decks, but Ghostricks really need the hand traps.

The most common floodgate I'm anticipating is Domain, I had Spell Shattering Arrows sided, but I think I have enough ways to get around it. I've also got Grampulse for the errant Shadow Mirrors.

Swords is a great card, I just think reactivity is a little more potent, Quaking and the Ghostrick traps'll do the equivalent and allow me to disrupt plays on their turn. Targeting is never an issue, none of the traps target. And Domain isn't shut off when a tribute summoned monster is flipped (I'm like 95% sure??), which makes the 1200 beaters all the more important

Most decks don't tend to do an insane amount of swarming, so if you can control 1 or 2 of their guys you can poke for damage every turn, all the while searching and drawing into stuff that can save you when they draw the outs

I used to main Neko but I found it's pretty hard to get off, not being able to Normal Summon it a lot of the time really hurts, and requires you to have 2 face-up monsters which is really only feasible if you're way ahead. I'm gonna test it some more, but it may or may not stay in the side. The traps can do the same in regards to flipping stuff down for Night.

What exactly is the Speedroid engine for? It seems a bit out-of-place tbh...

Basically what the others said, Alucard is pretty hard to get out through normal means, so Terrortop is a one card Angel. Opening Top and Jiangshi puts you in a pretty good position. For awhile I was running the dice for Synchro plays, but they were few and far between, and I needed space for Doll and Socuteboss
