But yeah, Lucario gets vote for being awesome and one of my mains in all games (I make it an explicit requirement for me to ALWAYS have one on team during each White 2 run). And yes, the first Pokemon I ever got to Mega Evolve (well, this applies to everyone who started with X/Y anyway) Vaporeon is second for Eeveelution (yes, I had some beef with it in the past, but only because it killed another of its kind at the time). Although to be fair, I haven't used it much. Rhyhorn is neutral, but it's the only way I can access Glittering Cave in X/Y so there's that. Oh, and because the anime had Serena trained to ride them. But Rhyhorn is weirdly cute and pretty cool in its simplicity. Plus one of my characters for RP uses one so there's that.Part of it is that Vaporeon already won one of these though.
