The Nyx Avatar
Not bad. This can help make easy Synchro plays, and it has a subtle destruction effect. It's also nice to see an OCG Greydle card.
Toffee.
Well... On one hand, you can destroy more cards with Dragon OR set up a Slime play to make more monstersOn the other, this doesn't exactly solve any of the issues the Deck has.
Snatch Steal
This honestly helps a good deal. Gets you 2-pop Dragon, can Special Summon a Graydle from Deck without Parasite, or it can just make you a bigger board. Turn 1, it might not be too helpful except for setting it, but I'd say it's probably a 3-of.
Maeriberii Haan
Its a pity it only floats on batlle destruction but otherwise it's pretty gucci.
Progenitor
That card enables so many 1 card plays it's absolutely bonkers
The Nyx Avatar
On the other, this doesn't exactly solve any of the issues the Deck has. What is it that the archetype needed, Armz?
Slinky
1 question, does the restriction only apply if you activate the effect, or if you use the optional part OF the effect. Wording does not make that clear.
The Warden
By the looks of it the resitrction occurs if you SS the second monster, since the conditions comes after another "you can" effect.
IQuitDolphin
This guy is basically the equivalent of Jiaotu in Yang Zing, it's not THAT worthless.
玄魔の王
So it appears the restriction actually limits you to WATER monsters, not Aqua-Type.
Delibirb
Is that a pacifier in its mouth? It's so cuuuuuute! Effect is cute too. Replaces Mother Grizzly and acts as another set of Surface.
玄魔の王
Also, under its new lore it can be used to make Gishilnodon. "Summon both Graydles. make Gish. Ran 1 into enemy monster, steal it and Gish becomes 3000"
Progenitor
Actually, that restriction could go both ways.If it's "and," then the restriction should apply to summon in from the grave. If it's "then," then the restriction should only apply to the optional summon from the hand."and then" is not actually a PSCT clause, so until they fix their grammar it's impossible to tell. Kaiji
wow Salvage sets it up to immediately summon another Greydle Dragon on the following turn wheeeeee
Toffee.
What is it that the archetype needed, Armz? For one thing, a faster means of getting Slime. Impact only searches in the End Phase, Split is a Trap, Foolish Burual is Limited, etc.Add to it, the Archetype loses to anything with anti-targeting. Plus... This card's 2nd effect only being by battle is silly; If it also worked off effects it would, kinda' sorta', fix the problem with Slime that I just stated. Plus, it's not like the drawbacks would lead to broken plays or anything- Aqua-Type Extra Deck monsters are damn near nonexistent, and both effects of Greydle Dragon have a hard OPT clause. At least, the way I see it.
Blake
I mean, it's an amazing card. It also throws off what we expect from this set and beyond, especially given that we also got a Synchro for Aromas. This means 2 Aromas, 1 Igknight, and 1 Graydle in this set so far. Whether we see Majespecter, Red-Eyes, and BLS in this set is unknown. Also, it just occured to me that 905-907 printed Synchro Archetypes. EDIT: Digibugs can't get a maindeck monster, though. Blake
Maybe Graydles will get a level 5 synchro? :DGiven that we got Rosemary, I honestly would not be shocked. There's a slot it could go in.
Bringerofcake
EDIT: Digibugs can't get a maindeck monster, though.Which is too bad, since they could benefit most from a "1 card fix" kind of support. Honestly if they got something like Hazy Flame Hydra, it wouldn't be too bad. As for baby alien, IZZZO ADOHABLE. It's effect is cute and actually can start making plays (Coral Dragon comes to mind, if Genma's errata is correct) and its art is cuter.

They run 2 tuners (level 2 and level 5), with all their non-tuners being level 3. Really, Norden is pretty much the only way you're making it, and that seems massively lackluster just to make a sync 6. Either way, this card gives access to a Towers out, Number 73, so huzzah, and can also easily grant access to FA Crystal Zero, which is another towers out. But you'd have to revive the original slime, and special summon another one, which honestly is very do-able. This card is an instant, Number 73, Number 94, FA Crystal Zero, Number 47, Grampulse, Gishilnodon, or Graydle Dragon. With none of them being super bad options either. And if you added a Surfacing into that, you can also make Shark Caesar which again, is actually not that bad.

Progenitor
Dang this is a Salvage target too so you can REALLY abuse it's effect turn by turn. And it's a Surface target so that could open up even more shenanigans. Nothing new but neat nonetheless.
Tinkerer
I know they wanted to keep all the main deck monsters at a stat total of 2000, but... It's kinda amusing that Baby Slime doesn't get any stronger or weaker when it grows into an adult Slime. It's also really cute <3 Oh, if they do make a level 5 Synchro, I'm calling that it's gonna be named "Graydle Chimera"
