why not?and:

i have a face down spirit reaper and my opponenet has a shura and a face-down divine wrath.my opponent attacks my spirit reaper then he activates his divine wrath to negate my spirit reapers effect to not be destroyed by battle, but he's targeted by a trap so is he destroyed by his own effect or is his effect to be destroyed when targeted by a spell or trap or monster effect also negated and its destroyed by divine wrath?

1. The effect of “Black Whirlwind” starts a Chain. If an effect is chained, so that the Summoned “Blackwing” monster is no longer face-up on the field when the effect of “Black Whirlwind” resolves, you cannot add a monster to your hand.

2. Divine Wrath cannot negate the "can't be destroyed by battle" effect of Reaper, because Wrath only works when the effects is activated. Spirit Reaper's effect is continuous.

Few questions, folks:

1) Does Treeborn Frog get summoned if you have a Field Spell?

2) If I Enemy Controller to steal my opponent's Blackwing that they summoned, do they still get Black Whirlwind's effect?

3) A weird question on Light And Darkness Dragon, Dark Simorgh and Ally Of Justice Catastor...

Catastor's effect activates when it battles a "non-DARK monster". Is this referring to, a) a monster who lacks a DARK attribute, or b) a monster who has an attribute that is anything other than DARK?

Basically, the question is, if it battles LADD or DS, since they're treated as having an additional attribute that happens to be not DARK, does it destroy them with the effect? Or is it, since they have the attribute DARK at all, they aren't destroyed?

[b']No.[/b]

It's still on the field, I believe so.

I take it as his effect doesn't activate because the monster is DARK, and cannot be non-Dark, but get someone else to confirm.

If I have a backrow of Traps and my opponent does damage' date=' can I Special Summon my Gorz from my hand?

[/quote']

When you take damage from a card your opponent controls while you control no cards' date=' you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Then activate the appropriate effect, based on the type of damage:

● Battle Damage: Special Summon 1 "Emissary of Darkness Token" (Fairy-Type/LIGHT/Level 7/ATK ?/DEF ?). Its ATK and DEF are each equal to the amount of battle damage you took.

● Effect Damage: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the damage you took.[/quote']

No.

EDIT: Damn you Saikano. At least I did it better.

Question:

My field = Ojama Country + Ojama Black + Ojama King

My opponent's field = Pole Position + Cybernetic Magician

My question is about how this works.

Ojama King is the stronger monster thanks to Ojama Country, making it unaffected by Spells by Pole Position's effect, meaning Ojama Country doesn't have an effect anymore, making Ojama King 0 again, so it stops being the strongest monster, being able to be affected by Spells again and being affected by Ojama Country, making it 3000 ATK again, unaffected by the field Spell recovering original ATK, then being affected again.... o_O

I need help... -_-"

lol' date=' alright. Thanks guys. I'm getting Tragodia no =D

[/quote']

Gorz > Tragoedia

Agreed.

*yawns*

Well, see ya. Also, is this allowed?

I attack my opponent directly, he Gorz me, I activate torrential, he activates CED on Gorz.

He shouldn't be able to Summon Gorz to begin with if he had a face-down card such as Compulsory Evacuation Device.... so, no.

question;

player A uses a monster' date=' to attack a lightsworn monster

player B responds with honest

can i then chain waboku, or is it damage step rullings stopping me??????

[/quote']

I think Waboku cannot be activated during Damage Step unless it was a Counter Trap or involved ATK/DEF changing effects. So no, you cannot Waboku Honest as far as I know.

It's a classic Pole Position loop. There are two ways to resolve it, depending on how it came about:

1) If the loop was made by an avoidable move that would definitely have caused the loop - for example, activating Ojama Country - then that move was illegal.

2) If the loop was caused in a way that could not have been foreseen before the move was made, or was otherwise unavoidable - for example, by attacking a face-down Defense Position Ojama King - then Pole Position self-destructs and does not destroy any monster in the process.

Quick Question because I'm not entirely sure on this. If I use Phantasmal Martyrs via Diamond Dude's effect' date=' do I still have to discard my entire hand? I know that I no longer would need Uria and Hamon but does it get around the hand discarding as well?

[/quote']

It's part of the effect, not part of the cost/requirements. So yes.

Its a cost. TO and FOR means cost. "And" = effect. it is possible to skip the cost and activation requirements at the same time.
