Both are optional effects, so the player's monster will activate first. The opponent will be chain 2 and will resolve first. That's what I think at least.

Wrong. Gb's don't form chains at all unless they are summoned simultaneously. IE After Gyz and Secutor. The turn player activates first and can go into murmilo before the opponent can even activate hoplumos.

Black garden does not target monsters when it halves them.

Are there any half-decent cards based on Squirrels?

Also' date=' could someone list some good cards that one should look around for while trading? I seriously have no clue what to go for...

Does By order of the Emperor negate cards that have continuous effects when they are summoned' date=' (EG. Spirit Reaper)

[/quote']

BOE only negates effects that activate when the monster is Normal Summoned. I'm moderately sure that continuous effects don't activate, so BOE only works on trigger effects like those of the Monarchs and Summon Reactor・SK.

Oh! Another question about it! hehe If I summon kuraz and negate it's effect with BoE does it negate his whole effect or just the destroy effect? So what I mean is' date=' if I negate his destruction effect can he then attack the turn he is summoned?

[/quote']

Not True

Musasabi looks terrible. Momonga is just some LP gain that won't activate due to effect destruction.

Musasabi works great in a panda deck.

...as I suspected' date=' these are the only two squirrels in the game?

The marmots look like squirrels too (but the japanese names says it's a beaver).

when does flip effect monsters effect happen for battle.

because i want to know if man-eat bug goes off if catastor attacks it. i always thought they activated directly after damage step but if its destroyed by card effect does it still get its effect???

Flip effects activate when the card is flipped face up. in battle the monster is destroyed but is considered "Floating" Because it remains on the field during the effect activation. Once the effect resolves it will be sent to the grave. And by card effect. If the card is flipped face up (By the cards effect) it will activate unless the cards effect states "Flip effects are not activated at this time"

When it gets destroyed by battle, its floating when the effect activates, so I suppose it goes: Catastor attacks, Man-Eater is flipped, its destroyed by Catastor's effect, then the effect activates while it's floating.

Catastor doesn't destroy with its effect if it attacks a face down monster regardless of attribute.

"Ally of Justice Catastor"'s effect activates at the beginning of the Damage Step, before the monster is flipped face-up. If the monster is face-down, "Ally of Justice Catastor"'s effect will not activate.
