Ah sorry' date=' bad wording. But yes, you answered my questions. thanks

[/quote']

Please do not forget that this only happens if you set the new field spell. If you were to activate the new field spell that would be the last thing that happened, and you will miss the timing of gear town.

i need help building ancient gears deck' date=' any clue on how to shop for them, and ways of getting around net deckers that are in the top gaming tournament? (light sworn, glad, blackwing, etc.)

[/quote']

First, to play tier does not always mean to net deck. It means to play competitive (in short, what is known to work)

The deck section is a good place to start for deck help, and before you can understand how to successfully beat those ... net decks, you will need to play with them. And eBay is probably the best place to shop.

Anything can ACTIVATE their effect while Skill-Drain is face-up.

When an effect is activated, first the cost is paid, then the effect resolves (which is normally negated because Skill Drain is face-up)

Exiled goes like this:

1) activate

2) pay cost (tributing Exiled) - Exiled is now in the Graveyard

3) effect resolves, Skill Drain won't negate it because Exiled is not a "face-up monster" at this point, which are the only effects negated by Skill Drain.

me and my friend were dueling and we came across this i had 2900 life points and my friend had 300. i have a giant germ on my field and he has a doomsday horror equiped with armory arm and it's attack is 3100. would i activate giant germs affect first if i attacked or would armoryarms effect go first? or would they both appear simeltainiously?

will it matter? your opponent loses even if Armory's effect goes first, but seeing as this card destroyed it, I would think that Giant Germ activates first

Both effects activate at the same time, and both are mandatory effects. The turn player's effect becomes chain link 1, and the non-turn player's becomes chain link 2. So if Giant Germ was the attacking monster, then Armory Arm would resolve first and the opponent would win, but if Armory Arm was to attack, then Giant Germ would resolve first.

If you had actually read what was said:

If Giant Germ's the one attacking, you win.

If Giant Germ's the one being attacked, you lose.

You said you attacked with Giant Germ, so you win.

Okay... really... the chain isn't even that hard.

Germ attacks, gets destroyed.

You loose 2100 in the damage calculation. Your life is now 800.

End step

germ chain link 1

Armory Arm chain link 2.

Armory arm resolves... You loose.

IF AND ONLY IF you were in an official tournament and you both reached the end of the initial 40 minutes and this chain was created, the game would tie because the chain must fully resolve. Since this is not an official tournament, the game is over when the first player reaches 0 lp.

............... Enjoy the game.

EDIT:

Say' date=' can you get by the effect of Royal Oppression with Level Stealer?

[/quote']

Level stealer reduces the level of a monster when it resolves, so yes its logically unoppressionable.

Today I was helping my friend testing his new deck, and in a moment I had 1 Zanji and 1 Grandmaster. He had Stardust. In an atempt to do something, I rammed my Zanji in Stardust. Here are the questions: Can Stardust negate Zanji's effect even if it's during the Damage Step and Zanji cannot be destroyed because it's already "floating"? Does the effect of Zanji still works even if it's destroyed by battle? If I destroy Grandmaster instead of Zanji, does the effect of Zanji still works (it will become the only 6S on the field)?.

I believe Stardust is able to negate Zanji's effect. Even though its "Floating" Stardust Negates and destroys Zanji with his effect

If' date=' for the sake of example, my Gladiator Beast Laquari attacks my opponents defense position Hoplomus, which one activates first?

[/quote']

Both are optional effects, so the player's monster will activate first. The opponent will be chain 2 and will resolve first. That's what I think at least.
