Jericho
And the best way to Summon such a card?
-Griffin
Blackwing)Oppression, unless it's Vayu, in which case try side-decking NecovalleySome good s/t removal that's quick play or a trap should be used for Black Whirlwind, or just spell negation in general since that's one of their main strengths. LS)I like to use Waboku and Roar, it's chainable to Lyla and JD and if you're lucky, will slow them down to a Deckout. I heard Light-Imprisoning Mirror is often used. Kykoo is also good for removing Graveyard support and stops Gardna. Glads)Skill Drain is good, but it won't help if they get a Book of Moon, unless you can negate book - Bottomless Trap Hole is a must here. Roar is also good to stop tagging. Oh, Mirror of Oaths is good tech here too apparently. But I don't play against any of them much, and if I do, it's usually an odd variant, so I'd wait for other people's advice. burnpsy
Is the following scenario legal? Player A has 2 monsters out' date=' and it's his Main Phase.Player B has a face-down Ojama Trio. Player A says "I Normal Summon...", and has the monster card literally already half-way onto the Monster Card Zone.Player B goes "Not so fast!" and activates Ojama Trio, filling up Player A's zones before he can finish his sentence. Player B was paying full attention and had enough time to activate Ojama Trio at a more reasonable moment.[/quote']
-Griffin
No.Since there was no activate chain, I'd say that player A had the first choice to make an action - in this case Summon a monster. Although if player A didn't ask "Do you respond to me entering my main phase?" or something, then player B could just say that he wasn't given a chance to activate it, which would be true. If player A -HAD- asked if he wanted to activate anything and player B said no, THEN tried to Normal Summon, player B would have no right to interrupt. Manjoume Thunder
Colossal Fighter's revival effect activates in the Damage Step so Royal Oppression cannot negate it.Correct?

iAmNateXero
It should be, but Konami likes to give every card a separate ruling. Im leaning towards correct.
-Griffin
I'll say correct until Konami messes it up.

iAmNateXero
Has a "How to grow your collection" Guide been done before? I asked something similar awhile ago, basically where the best place for guides would go, but I doubt this will fit into Strategy.
-Griffin
I see your point, but you might as well put it in Strategy, it's not like it's got anything good in there right now.

.Nu-13
no, you can't. its effect is negated but when it will be on thew field. in your hand/deck/graveyard, effect is still applied, so you couldn't special summon that monster
Cypress
if i tribute my faceup jinzo for another jinzo, at the time that no jinzo is on the field, can i activate call of the haunted?
-Berserker-
if i tribute my faceup jinzo for another jinzo' date=' at the time that no jinzo is on the field, can i activate call of the haunted?[/quote'] Tributing has no spell speed, so doesnt start a chain, so you'll have to wait until the monster is summoned, but the monster in this case is Jinzo, so you can't activate the trap after summoning it.
