Thought Ruler Archfiend

Colossal Fighter

Black Rose Dragon

Goyo Guardian

Gaia Knight, the Force of Earth

Magical Android

Ally of Justice - Catastor

Armory Arm

Becasue they are all generic.

1) When the opponent activates "Monster Reborn"' date=' do they declare a target before or after the window of Counter Traps?

[/quote']

They choose a target before the Counter Trap.

How else do you think D.D. Crow can counter Monster Reborn?

2) You can set a Non-Quick Play Spell and use it during the same turn' date=' correct?

[/quote']

Correct.

D.D. Crow = Counter Trap?

But yeah, it's true. Activating a card, paying the cost and declaring a target all happen at the same time.

No' date=' what he means is that you can send D.D. Crow to the Graveyard and removed the selected monster before it gets reborn.

[/quote']

What he's saying is that you can Crow the target of MR because you know what the target of MR is at the time that you decide to Crow the target of MR. This is logical, but it could have been different with Counter Traps, because they are Spell Speed three, which makes the line "How else do you think D.D. Crow can counter Monster Reborn?" irrelevant.

That's what I'm saying.

Not really irrelevant but at the same time I agree.. It was just an prime example of why you have to declare a monster when you activate Monster Reborn. Seeing how D.D. Crow is a slower spell speed than a counter trap. Though with counter traps it would not matter what you declare since the counter trap will be negating the activation of the MR.

It matters a lot for the Counter Trap player to decide whether or not he should activate the Counter Trap at that time.

I am not talking about the counter trap player.

Your talking about if the counter trap player should or should not activate depending on what monster is selected. I am talking about the counter trap already activated so it would not matter what was designated as the target of MR.

Can I remove Drago to SS REDRUM?

No. Same as trying to use Pachycephalo in a Synchro Summon.

Why can't you?? =/

Because the rulings state that you can't.

>.< I was thinking Magna Drago rather than Koa'ki Meiru... =/ I got it now ;) I love this thread xD

Lulz....

But why the hell wouldn't you be able to remove Magna Drago for REDMD?

Whatever floats your boat.

Can I use a card (Monster Reborn' date=' Premature, Call, etc) to special summon Black Luster Envoy of the Beginning from the graveyard as long as I also remove 1 light and 1 dark monster from my graveyard as well? (assuming it has already been properly special summoned from my hand) or is it just a one time special summon from the hand?

Also, if it hasn't been special summoned properly, and is just dumped to the graveyard with Card Trooper, etc, can I special summon it from the graveyard with Premature/Call, etc, as long as I remove a light and dark?

Or, is there no removal of light and dark required when special summoning it from the graveyard?

[/quote']

Rules about semi-nomis:

They say: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by

In order to summon them from the Graveyard, they must have been summoned the way they say first. After that you can Special Summon them from the Graveyard by other effects. When they are special summoned from the graveyard, their cost doesn't have to be paid again.

BLS-EotB is a semi-nomi.

^ You cannt special sumnmon them from the graveyard.

only from hand;

That's only true with nomi's. BLS-EotB' date=' CED,EotE, and Chaos Sorcerer are all semi-nomis.

[/quote']

Wait this isn't making any sense...? Someone else also said

"Nomis says "this card cannot be Special Summoned, except by ....."

Semi nomis says "this card can only be special summoned by".

Nomis can only be summoned by its own effect. "

So what IS a Nomi and a Semi-Nomi?

Also I want to bring up that Chaos Emperor says "This card cannot be normal summoned or set. This card can only be special summoned by removing blah blah..." Sp I'm assuming it cannot be brought back with a card like Call ever even if it HAS been summoned with a light and dark?

And I noticed Black luster says "This card can only be special summoned by removing blah blah..." So can he be normal summoned/set? It doesn't say "This card cannot be normal summoned or set" on the card at all. And again, original question. What's the rulings on special summoning him from the graveyard?

So is Black luster also a semi-nomi because of the "can only be special summoned" thing even though it lacks the "This card cannot be normal summoned or set" part?

Sorry for the n00bness but I've never heard the terms Nomi/Semi-nomi before.

My questions of today are:

Can you summon "Armityle the Chaos Phantom" with "Future Fusion"

and

Can I active "Future Fusion" to send Materials for "Armityle the Chaos Phantom" to grave? If yes, and "Armityle" can't be summoned (depending on the 1st question) what happens to the "Fusion"?

Black Luster Soldier and Chaos Emperor Dragon can be summoned from the graveyard with cards like monster reborn if you summoned them previously with their own effect. The black luster soldier that lacks the part that says that cannot be normal summoned is errata'd.

You cannot use Future Fusion for fusion monsters that cannot be summoned with Polymerization. So you cannot even activate Future Fusion to try to fusion summon it.
