Blake
Does Ghostrick Vanish prevent Ghostrick Scare from being used in a different chain? In some sense it sounds like it, but it also could not be from the way Vanish is worded, in that they can't be targeted by effects, but the targeting for Scare is a cost, not an effect. They cannot. When a card says cannot be targeted for an effect, like Hazy-Flames, it means the targeting at declaration.

Greiga
Can I rank up a monster who is being unaffected by the effects of spell and trap cards? What about a monster that was called with Prohibition or Psi-Blocker?
-Noel-
as for unaffected state like Lance'd, you cannot ranking up since it's unaffected by RUM, therefore chaining lance on RUM target will make RUM do nothing, but I'm not sure about the latter cases
Greiga
So if I Super Poly their Dark Law, are my cards used in that interaction banished or sent to the grave?

newhat
My opponent declares an attackI use Malevolent Catastrophe to trigger Artifact Achilleshield and Special Summon itIt activates its effect to prevent Artifacts from being targeted for attacks Can my opponent select it as an attack target for the Replay?
-Noel-
No, if you control only Artifacts when Achille resolved, then your opponent's monsters cannot attack at all (Achille is also "Artifact" monster), however they can attack your non-Artifact or face-down monster. Greiga
When this card is sent to the graveyard to activate the effect of a WATER monster: I assume this works for being detached by a cost too?
evilfusion
I assume this works for being detached by a cost too? Yes. If the Xyz is a WATER, and detaches as a cost, it'll Trigger those effects. Be sure it's a cost, though. No.30 is an effect, for example, but No.17 is a cost.
Greiga
Ok, so this just happened in devpro and I wanna know if it's a bug or the truth: If I tribute 2 monsters for Neo Tachyon's attack effect, then I detach 107 to use Time Tyrant, can I no longer attack 3 times? evilfusion
Ok, so this just happened in devpro and I wanna know if it's a bug or the truth: If I tribute 2 monsters for Neo Tachyon's attack effect, then I detach 107 to use Time Tyrant, can I no longer attack 3 times? I'm thinking it might be a bug, as the "attack 3 monsters" effect had resolved. Although, if it's not a bug, the reasoning would be that since C107 says "If it has 107 attached, it gains this effect", so detaching 107 would remove the effect. But most Number Cs that detach their required Number as a cost still successfully resolve the effect, so either it's a bug, or C107 is an oddity because of how its second effect works. I'm honestly not sure, and can't find any ruling that even references the situation.
JadenxAtemYAOI
Making sure I understand correctly. I have Imperial Iron Wall activated. I have 3x Quillbolt in my Graveyard and Plaguespreader Zombie on the field. I also have 6 cards in my hand. Theoretically, if I were to use the four monsters to SS Stardust Dragon. Would I be able to keep on special summoning Plaguespreader as long as I have a card in my hand?

Would I be able to keep on special summoning Plaguespreader as long as I have a card in my hand? You can. Each time Plaguespreader is used for Synchro Material, its drawback will fail to apply and it will go to the Graveyard. [spoiler=Gonzo]The scenario you're describing is colossally more difficult to set up than it's worth because Wall is unsearchable. Also, it's very hard to dump multiple Quillbolts without blowing your whole hand unless you draw 3 Mathematicians and your opponent attacks over each one without killing you. Greiga
During your opponent's End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Return it to the hand. So if I creature swap their Tidal, will it go back to their hand during their End Phase or still during my end phase?

Greiga
Ok, wasn't sure if it was the card's controller mattered of if it literally meant "the opponent of the owner".

For reference, check when the effect activates. Apply all appropriate terms based on its location on the Field/Grave/etc when it activates. Greiga
Is this on devpro or something? Because I'm no expert but as far as I know it should work since that part of Second is an effect and Shaddolls say "If: you can" so it won't miss.
Gabriponte
No, because Prime Dragon effect says "damage" and Wall of Revealing Light "pay". You lose Life Points.
