Yu-Gi-Oh! Rulings Questions

Can I remove Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor and Blackwing - Armor Master from my Graveyard to Special Summon Blackwing - Lone Silver Wind?

The whole concept of Vayu's effect never made since to me' date=' considering Synchros are semi-nomis, and the summoning condition is the tuner + non-tuner :/

[/quote']

Technically, you can, because the Grave-Sync isn't affected by material on the card.

Vayu rules.

'Kay' date=' so like... yeah.

I use Bait Doll on my face-down... let's just say it's Skill Drain. Can my opponent then Solemn Judgment said Skill Drain? Since it was Bait Doll's effect to force Skill Drain's activation, I would think it's in the resolution, and no new chains can occur in the middle of resolution... am I correct or horribly mistaken?

You cannot chain to a Trap Card that was forced to activate by the effect of "Bait Doll" since an existing Chain is in the middle of resolving.

Means no. He can't chain to it.

I agree that it is strange, but what other use would Vayu's effect have?

Let's say I have Red Eyes Wyvern in my Graveyard. I Normal Summon a monster' date=' but my opponent plays Solemn Judgement and negates it being played and destroys it.

At the End Phase, would I still be able to remove Wyvern to Special Summon 1 Red Eyes monster from my Graveyard?

[/quote']

No. You performed a Normal summon, it is the monster that was negated.

Huh? Under this logic, you should be able to negate the monster summoned by Monster Reborn, but you can't even do that with Solemn. You could negate the Monster Reborn, but not the summon caused by Monster Reborn.

The card says that it "negates a summon". It doesn't negate the monster. Monsters cannot be negated, only their summons and effects can be negated. I would figure you could use Wyvern's effect in this situation.

If “Great Shogun Shien” is face-up' date=' and the activation of your opponent’s Spell/Trap Card is negated (by “Magic Jammer”, etc.), they can still activate 1 more Spell/Trap Card after that.[/quote']

I believe we can also apply this ruling to Wyvern in combination with a negated Normal Summon.

That's like saying that If you solemn my Stratos I can then normal summon a Diamond dude. Its not possible. A normal summon was still done, regardless if the monster was negated.

True dat, but we still have the Great Shogun Shien thing, which is about the same, except that the ruling is exactly the opposite.

Konami just has to make this clear.

Do dark world monsters gain their effects from using sky scourge norleras?

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 1 LIGHT Fairy-Type monster and 3 DARK Fiend-Type monsters in your Graveyard. You can pay 1000 Life Points to send all cards on the field and in both players' hands to the Graveyard' date=' then you draw 1 card.[/quote']

If this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard by a card effect' date=' Special Summon it. If this card is discarded from the hand to the Graveyard by your opponent's card effect, you can select up to 2 cards your opponent controls and destroy them.[/quote']
