Just to be sure, because I told someone a ruling about this, Forbidden Lance does not stop the ATK increase from Spellbook of Power, correct? Because Lance doesn't cleanse monsters of changes that have already been targeted to cards?

"If you use "Forbidden Lance" on a monster being affected by "Shrink", the ATK will be the halved original value minus 800."

unless it's a continuous or equip, it will decrease it, but since it's a lingering effect, it will keep it iirc.

also this: "if a Spellcaster-Type monster affected by "Spellbook of Power" is affected by "Forbidden Lance", the effects of "Spellbook of Power" that has already resolved are still applied."

So if you acitvated as in the same chain, it would negate those effs.

EDIT: Oh wait, I might have gotten your question wrong. Since you're having Shrink as an example, that changes original, but if that is negted, it will return to the original, and your monster will also lose 800 points, though if it's a chain I dunno.

If that was on the Wiki, I guess I should have read Power before I read Lance, but I guess that could help answer other people's questions. Also, that thing about Shrink was a ruling, not the question I was asking.

I know you were, just saying that I'm not sure if it was meant as a part of a chain, or as a part of it already being targeted beforehend. But it seems that it's the latter.

It doesn't stop the increase after Power's been resolved. Chaining Lance to power is a different matter I hope you understand.

Supervise's effect is mandatory.  It must activate.

not what I meant, I ment if it was "destroyed" if I destroyed the monster instead of destroying the card itself.

I actually thought it said destroy not sent, why did I think that?

But, if if said destroy, would it activate?

Can I use Haze-Glory/Hazy Glory's effect that returns a card from my Graveyard to my hand on my opponent's turn? Since it's a Continuous Trap Card, I thought it would work like a Quick-like effect - it doesn't even specify when you can activate it, just like Mischief of the Youkai. But I'm not totally sure.

If it's destroyed, it's destroyed. Destruction by game mechanics is still destruction.

Trap cards are Spell Speed 2 and can be activated as such unless the card states otherwise.

Can I activate Tiger King's detach effect if there are no face-up non-Beast-Warrior-Type monsters?

Sorry, you said NON-Beast-Warrior Type

You would need at least 1 Monster that could be negated by the effect to activate it.  Whether it already has its effects negated by another effect is irrelevant, but there must be at least 1 non-Beast Warrior Type Effect Monster.

Since Debris Dragon doesn't target the monster after it is summoned, and it negates the effect of the monster anyways, can you summon Spirit Reaper with its effect and keep it on the field?

Even if it did target, Spirit Reaper would've been negated before it could apply its own Continuous Effect.
