No. Botanical Lion cannot be Swapped due to its effect. You cannot activate Creature Swap if it is the only monster you control, and if it becomes your only monster before resolution, it will fizzle as both players are incapable of swapping a monster.

Oh, okay. I thought there had been some kind of combo with Mataza the Zapper that made it so you could use Creature Swap as Change of Heart, and I didn't know if maybe it would be the same here.

This is tricky, so I'll just tell you how to know when a card DOESN'T target.

-When it deals with variable values (Smashing Ground does not target because it kills the monster with the most defense, which can be changed at any time)

--Note: I am honestly not sure how to word this, so if anyone can say it better, please do

-When it does not specify a specific number of targets (Stratos kills Spells and Traps equal to the number of HEROs on your field. Since the field can change before resolution it does not target.)

--Note: Cards like Junk Destroyer do target because the number of targets (or the number of non-tuners) is decided before the effect activates)

-When the effect selects a card in the hand or deck.

--Note: This matters even if the card effects the field as well, like Trishula.

If the card does not do any of the above, it targets.

I may have missed some though, so if you have anything I haven't exactly covered, let me know.

It looks like you covered everything. Thanks for your answer.

If Archlord Kristya is on the field, can I special summon in a way that removes Kristya from the field? For example, can I use my opponent's Kristya for Lava Golem, Super Polymerization, or Ninjitsu Art of Super Transformation?

No. Cards like Kristya or Fossil Dyna do not allow you to even attempt to Special Summon, even if that Summon would removed the preventer from the field.

Can you use excessive Tributes (ie. Yubel AND Dandylion for Relinquished) or do you have to stop once you go over the specified level?

What about with the Ritual Djinn?

If you already reach the needed levels, you cannot add more monsters to your tribute.

That's why you send Dandylion first, then Yubel. :'D

At least... I would assume you could do that, since it's never stated that you HAVE to do it as quick as possible.

Actually, COULD you do that if you aren't summoning, say, Relinquished?

You send them both at the same time. And Yubel is already enough for any Ritual existing now, so, if you are using Yubel as the tribute, it will be the only tribute. You'll be unable to use any other with it, not even a lv1.

If my witch of the black forest attacks my opponent's witch of the black forest and we both add exodia the forbidden one to our hand to complete. Is it a draw or what?

The effects will chain together. Turn Player's Witch will be Chain Link 1, and the opponent's will be Chain Link 2.

Chains resolves backwards.

Chain Link 2: Opponent adds "Exodia the Forbidden One" to their hand, completing the set.

Win Conditions are checked between Chain Links. Opponent has Exodia the Forbidden One set in hand. Opponent wins duel.

My field: Laval Tender, Laval Lady of the Burning Lake

His field: Laval Tender, Laval Tender, Laval Forest Sprite

Black Rose.

What happens with Tender effects?

Depends on turn.

Turn player's Tender activates first.

Then the other player's.

Then the third one (wherever it may be)

Resolve backswards, third mills, then second, then first.

If any more Tenders are milled, they miss timing unless it was sent for the first Tender to activate earlier.
