Lemme guess, in these situations

If Imperial Iron wall was active on the field, I could not use Battle Fader?....

If Imperial Iron wall was activated right after I used Battle Fader, its effect is negated b/c it cannot be removed? Or it just stays on the field?

No, Battle Fader's effect requires you to be able to summon it, no more. The banish part is just a side effect. If Wall is on the field, Fader just goes to wherever it was going to go in that situation (grave if sent there, hand if bounced, etc.)

I activate a new Field Spell over my opponent's Karakuri Showdown Castle. Do they still SS or does it miss the timing?

Field spells do not get destroyed unless another is played directly over it, or until the current one resolves. Since you aren't playing the spell directly over it, it won't be destroyed till resolution and will not miss timing.

Can Starlight Road negate Blazing Dust Explosion?

No. Blazing Dust Explosion does not target. How many cards are destroyed is determined during resolution of the effect when the monsters are banished. There is no guarantee that, at activation where you would be chaining Starlight Road, two of your cards would be destroyed.

Thought as much, thanks for clarifying.

I think you're confusing it with the "If this card is Special Summoned with this effect, remove it from play when it is removed from the field." in Birdman.

I don't understand what you're getting at. Birdman's self-summon is an Ignition Effect. The cost is returning 1 monster on the field to the hand. The effect is to Special Summon Birdman and to grant it 500 ATK if the monster returned was Wind. That's why the Gallis OTK works as it does. Koa'ki Meiru Doom will negate the effect of summoning Birdman, but can't prevent the cost of activating the effect to return Gallis to the hand.

Since its the cost, The "Battle Fader" that would be "banished if removed from the field" cannot be returned to the hand for the cost of Birdman and is not a valid to use for the cost.
