evilfusion
Shouldn't Kycoo the ghost destroyer's secondary effect negate the first? No. Kycoo only prevents the OPPONENT from removing cards from the Graveyard.

Nathanael D. Striker
Does Skill Drain negate Blast Sphere?
evilfusion
Does Skill Drain negate Blast Sphere? Yes. Blast Sphere's effect activates on the field when it's flipped up by an attack. Its effect will be negated and Damage Calculation will apply normally.
Jake the Sage
Now remember folks, Skill Drain- Pay 1000 Life Points. The effects of all face-up monsters are negated. Blast Sphere- If your opponent's monster attacks this face-down Defense position card, this card becomes an Equip Card equipped to the attacking monster, before damage calculation. Destroy the equipped monster during your opponent's next Standby Phase, and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's ATK. If Skill Drain is already active, Blast Sphere will be negated. If it's not already active, it's the Damage Step and Skill can't be used at this time. Attack -> (if no responses) Damage Step -> Monster is flipped -> Damage Calculation -> Flips/etc activate -> Monster sent to Grave/effects Trigger With Blast Sphere Attack -> Damage Step -> Blast Sphere flipped - > Blast Sphere activates and equips, no Damage Calculation
Nathanael D. Striker
Skill Drain was already active before I attacked.
evilfusion
Then Blast Sphere is negated because its effect activates once it's faceup. The text only means that it has to be facedown when it was attacked and then flipped by that attack. Monsters dont have active effects while they're facedown. Can you give a monster that has the multi-target attack thing or whatever?

Monsters who can attack multiple times (or multiple/all monsters the opponent controls) do so one at a time, not all at once. If that doesn't answer your question, I had no idea what you're talking about in regards to "multi-targeting attacks".

Zauls
Your field: Verdant Sanctuary, face-up Attack Position Howling InsectOpponent's field: any monster with more than 1200 ATK If you suicide the Howling insect into the opponent's monster, do both Verdant Sanctuary and Howling Insect get their effects, or since they are both optional, does one of them miss the timing? This type of question is asked over and over, just with different cards. If two cards are triggering at the same time, neither miss the timing. They can chain together. The only exception is Trigger Effects from the Hand. You may only choose to activate one of them.

darkwolf777
There may not be any truth behind it, but its definitely a valid observation so far, and appears to be a general ruling in regards to Trigger Effects from the hand.
CDDRodrigo
Meklords are trigger effects. You can't summon 2 of them at once. Yes, it makes perfect sense.
Synchronized
If I use "Heavy Storm", then negate it with "Starlight Road" to Summon "Stardust Dragon", and my opponent chains "Royal Oppression", and I chain "Mystical Space Typhoon" to Royal Oppression, is Stardust Dragon's Summon still negated? That's rather convoluted, heh. Chains resolve backwards. Chain Link 1: Heavy StormChain Link 2: Starlight RoadChain Link 3: Royal OppressionChain Link 4: MST resolving backwards Chain Link 4: MST destroys Royal Oppression.Chain Link 3: Oppression is a Continuous Trap. As it has been destroyed, its effect does not resolve. Nothing happens.Chain Link 2: Starlight Road resolves, negating Heavy Storm and Summoning Stardust DragonChain Link 1: Heavy Storm's activation is negated and it is destroyed.
