I mean, what'll happen to its ATK and DEF?

Nothing would change.

Chain Link 1 - Reverse Trap

Chain Link 2 - Light and Darkness Dragon (negating Reverse Trap)

Resolving~

Chain Link 2 - Light and Darkness Dragon fails because it does not have enough ATK/DEF to negate the effect.

Chain Link 1 - Reverse Trap resolves successfully.

In the end, Light and Darkness Dragon still has 800/400.

Scrap Beast's effect to return a guy is optional, yet is doesn't miss the timing if destroyed as chain 2+. Is there a reason for this or is it entirely a konami says so ruling?

If this card is destroyed by the effect of a "Scrap" card and sent to the Graveyard, you can select 1 "Scrap" monster in your Graveyard, except "Scrap Beast" and add it to your hand.

Condition For Activation: If this card is destroyed by the effect of a "Scrap" card and sent to the Graveyard

Timing of the Trigger: None

Condition For Resolution: None

Effect: You can select 1 "Scrap" monster in your Graveyard, except "Scrap Beast" and add it to your hand.

Well, I like to consider an "If" to be a condition rather than timing (designated by "When"), but it would work either way I guess...

Regardless. There is no specific timing for this card's Trigger. When the condition is set, it will activate during the next possible opportunity. It cannot miss the timing.

Basically, you do not have to activate it "WHEN" it happens, but "IF" it happens, so there's no dead on specified timing.

even though it says "send to the Graveyard"?

Sending monsters to the Graveyard is an effect of Polymerization/Super Polymerization, etc. It is not a cost.

Sending Tokens to the Graveyard as an effect would remove them from the field.

You can use Tokens for Fusion Summons with cards like Polymerization, etc

if i activate battle fader while my opp declared an attack with LaDD what happens to my BF, does it stay in my hand or is it send to the graveyard?

If your Battle Fader is negated by LaDD, Your Battle Fader is not Special Summoned and the Battle Phase doesn't end. Your Battle Fader will stay in your hand. You will not be able to activate Battle Fader at the same time again because after that chain resolves, it would mean that LaDD's attack declaration is successful and would be too late to activate it again.

also if i negate the summon of LaDD with a card like judgment or warning can my opp activates LaDD's effect to destroy all cards they control and spec summon a monster?

Yes, they must because it is mandatory. It activates because it was destroyed (by Solemn Judgment/Solemn Warning) and sent to the Graveyard.
