evilfusion
I summon CyDra, activate Advance Force and tribute to summon a wicked/egyptian god. Does this work? What's the ruling on AF with monsters requiring 3 tributes? No. You need 3 Tributes, or monsters equaling that amount (like Double Coston + any). Advance Force doesn't say it counts as 2 Tributes, it just says you can Tribute Summon a level 7+ mon for the level 5+ monster. Dreadroot, Avatar, Obelisk, and Eraser specifically state you can only Normal Summon by using 3 Tributes, and since the effect of Advance Force does not fit the requirement, you may not do it. Giga Hand
So it's like a nomi, but for normal summons. Gotcha. Off-topic, do you think wicked gods would be competitive if it worked?

Legend Zero
Opponent controls 2 LaDD and I activate a Spell....do they both lose ATK & DEF?
evilfusion
They both chain to the Spell and your opponent can choose which is Chain Link 2 or 3. Resolving in reverse. Chain Link 3- LADD 2 reduces ATK/DEF by 500 to negate your Spell. Chain Link 2- LADD 1 does not do anything, as the Spell is already negated by LADD 2. Chain Lin 1- Your Spell is negated. It does not do anything.
shadowferret
Wouldn't the LADD's negate each other? >_>
evilfusion
No. They're mandatory effects that immediately chain to the first possible effect, and only that effect (LADD only activates once per chain). Both would try to chain to the Spell that got played. I used to think one would negate the other, but that's not how it works.

darkwolf777
This is an extremely stupid question, but I forgot it. Can I SS the Dark Creator with Dasher's Grave Effect? No, The Dark Creator only be Special Summoned (from the hand) by the way printed on the card.

darkwolf777
I play Rekindling and Special Summon 3 Flamvell Magician and 1 Flamvell Firedog. Can my opponent play Bottomless Trap Hole? Yes, because you Special Summoned a monster with 1500 ATK or more. Bottomless Trap Hole will only destroy and remove from play the monsters that could trigger it. Therefore, only Flamvell Firedog will be destroyed and removed. The three Flamvell Magicians will remain on the field (since they have less than 1500 ATK.) -Griffin
It works in WC10, but I heard it doesn't work in TF5 So I'm confused Pretty sure it does unless there's a BKBS about it.
darkwolf777
The idea behind it is that Armory Arm checks for the ATK value on the card while it is in the Graveyard. If the card is no longer in the Graveyard, then it cannot check the ATK value, similar to how Black Whirlwind checks during resolution the ATK of the monster that was Normal Summoned and if that monster is not face-up on the field, then it cannot compare the ATK value to search the Deck with. I did test it and posted here and yes it works in WC2010 but does not work in Tag Force 5. Either it was bugged before, or there was a rule change. I don't have any idea how it would be ruled now. Whether it is bugged or has up to date rulings, I couldn't say. I have yet to test out similar effects, such as Elemental Hero Flame Wingman, but would be worth a shot to compare and see if it was just one issue with a card, or an overall issue with the rulings and those types of cards x.o
-Griffin
But there'd be no question if you managed to get out 2 Collosals and loop them alternatively?
darkwolf777
But there'd be no question if you managed to get out 2 Collosals and loop them alternatively? Yes, that works fine. You can loop if you have two different Colossal Fighters in the Graveyard.
-Berserker-
So... Summon Coelacanth with Mausoleum or something else. Activate it's effect. Summon Royal Swamp Eel, Oyster Meister, Fishborg Blaster and a lv 4 fish. Synchro RSE with the lv 4 and into Colossal; Oyster and Fishborg into Armory Arm and a token will be summoned. Discard to summon Fishborg and tune it with Coelacanth into another colossal. Equip an opponent's monster with Armory and suicide both colossals. That would work... Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
Can a card unaffected by Spell Cards still be chosen as a target for Creature Swap?
evilfusion
Well, Creature Swap doesn't target, but that's not the point: the effect of Creature Swap will disappear because if one can't be swapped, neither will be. Note: This will only occur if that monster is the only valid target for one reason or another. You cannot choose it if you have a valid target on the field. Zeppeli Gyro Supreme
I didn't mean target. That's just the terminology I use. I figured that's how it worked, but I wanted to be completely sure before I threw out the idea.
Master White
Three Q's for you... Can Fishborg Blaster Special Summon itself? Can Cloudan-Storm Dragon be Special Summoned from the Graveyard, hand, or deck with its effect, b/c it don't state where it can be, just wondering.... My friend, he says this... When you activate Monster Reborn, he can use call of the haunted to grab it bakc, then you don't get it because he used the target, is that true? When you activate Monster Reborn, he can use call of the haunted to grab it bakc, then you don't get it because he used the target, is that true? 1) Fishborg Blaster states that if you control a level 3 or below WATER, you can discard 1 to Special Summon it from the Grave. Fishborg must already be in the Grave to use this effect. 2) No. Summoning Conditions apply in the hand unless specifically stated otherwise. 3) Yes, because chains resolve backwards. Chain Link 1: You activate Monster Reborn, targeting opponent's Blue-Eyes White Dragon.Chain Link 2: Your opponent chains with Call of the Haunted, targeting that same Blue-Eyes. Resolving Chain Link 2: Call of the Haunted Special Summons the Blue-Eyes.Chain Link 1: The targeted monster is no longer in the Graveyard. Monster Reborn fizzles with no effect.
