You couldn't remove from play cards from the Graveyard even on the old Errata. Both prior to the new errata and now, you can not activate Mezuki while Necrovalley is in play. Canadian
Temple of the Kings + Scrap Iron Scarecrow. What happens? Does Scarecrow get sent to the Grave, get reset, or can it be played and stay in your hand.
evilfusion
Scrap Iron can be re-set on the field after activation. Temple lets you activate Traps the same turn they're set. You can activate it as many times as possible per turn.

Does Scarecrow get sent to the Grave, get reset, or can it be played and stay in your hand. Cathedral of Nobles (Temple of the Kings) lets you play Trap Cards the turn they are Set. It does not allow you to play Trap Cards from the hand. If you're using a card's effect like Jetroid and you use its effect to play Scrap-Iron Scarecrow from the Hand, based on the wording, it should be Set in the Spell/Trap Card Zone you played it in. I see no reason for it to go to the Graveyard or stay in your Hand x.o;

I can't find any similar rulings to support either side. Konami will probably have to rule on this themselves.
Brandon Michael Geren
Ah, I was thinking of Makyura. But either way you cleared up my confusion. Thanks, haha.Temple+Scrap Iron does, however, become an infinite attack-blocker as long as your opponent doesn't draw a spell/trap destroyer. I can't find any similar rulings to support either side. Konami will probably have to rule on this themselves. If it doesn't, this will be so broke. *runs off to post Six Sam FTK deck in Your Deck* Srsly, 2 FTKs at once. Draw either to win. Brandon Michael Geren
Can you speak Japanese? Also, I see you've figured out on your own that it doesn't miss. >____> *builds 12 Sams*No. I didn't figure it out. I just felt I should tell them in case it does so they pretend that it actually doesn't. I already did. So far, the known effect is: If you control a face-up "True Six Samurai - Mizuho", you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Tributed, you can add 1 "True Six Samurai" monster from your Graveyard to your hand. This is the first time a card's whose trigger is "When this card is Tributed" yet has an Optional Trigger. Based on the wording, it would always miss the timing if Tributing was not the last thing to occur. That means it would miss the timing for the cost of any effects. It would miss the timing if it was Tributed for a Tribute Summon. The problem here is that there aren't many effects I can think of, none that are currently among the Six Samurais, that can "Tribute AND perform some effect" so that Tributing is the last thing to occur. There aren't many generic cards that do the same that I can think of. So there needs to be one of the following to happen: A: Add Six Samurai support where an effect has Tributing being the last action performed OR B: Have Shinai's effect activate after the current Chain/Tribute Summon resolves so it cannot miss the timing. Right now, unless the currently listed effect is incorrect/mistranslated (where either Shinai is mandatory, or if there's an effect of a Six Samurai that "Tributes AND other effect" or has an effect where Tributing is the last thing to occur), Shinai will miss the timing for almost everything that exists in Yugioh.Mizuho tributes and does other effect. That's why I assume it doesn't miss the timing. Because otherwise Mizuho+Shinai would be pointless.

This leads me to believe that they will BKSS it into working, as the effect of Mihuzo, which it is explicitly meant to combo with, reads: "If you control a face-up "True Six Samurai - Shinai", you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 "Six Samurai" monster, other than this card, to destroy 1 card on the field." In this particular instance, the card is tributed first and then a card is destroyed. For this reason, I'd have to think that Shinai works with Mass Driver somehow, whether it's BKSS or mistranslation.

darkwolf777
I found a mistake in my explanation. There is one big difference here. The difference between the words When and If in regards to an effect's Trigger. Realizing my mistake here, This is going to be ruled like Moon Dragon Quilla. This means that Shinai CANNOT miss the timing. it will activate after the current chain ends so it will activate after Mass Driver resolves. Funny how one word screws everything up in Yugioh. Luis El Lincer
My opp attacks with a maraudin captain powered-up with solidarity my cyber dragon, we enter damage calc i respond with limiter removal he responds with shrink so cyber dragon attck would be 2100/1050 + 1050 = 2100 or 2100/1050 + 2100 = 3050??? evilfusion
If it was chained, then Shrink resolves first, dropping Cyber to 1050. Then Limiter doubles it to 2100. If the chain is done the other way around, that is, Shrink resolving after Limiter, Cyber's ATK will be 1050. I have no idea why. Limiter has weird rulings. There's nothing weird in regards to that. Limiter Removal will double the overall ATK of a monster. Shrink though works differently then how its worded. Shrink simply states "The original ATK of that monster is halved until the end of this turn." What it really should say is "The monster's ATK becomes halve its original ATK until the end of this turn."
evilfusion
Limiter Removal has always seemed weird to me, regardless. Example: Cyber Dragon (2100) + Mage Power on its own is 2600 ATK. Add Limiter. That's (2100+500+500) x 2. Limiter is then removed from the S/T zone when it resolves. What is Cyber Dragon's ATK? Is it 6200 (no attack loss)? 5700 (500 loss from 1 less S/T)? or 5200 (double the 500 ATK loss)?

Even if Mage Power is removed from the field this turn, Cyber Dragon's ATK will still be 6200 until the Doubled ATK from Limiter Removal has ended. Continuous Effects that increase ATK and DEF that are factored (Doubled, Halved) cannot further modify the ATK/DEF of a monster until the effect that Doubles/Halves wears off. This is because their effects were also factored into the effect that doubled/halved the ATK. A simple example. Black Garden is on the field. I summon Tragoedia. With Tragoedia's Continuous Effect it gets 600 ATK for each card in my hand. I have 4 cards, so its ATK is 2400. Black Garden activates and resolves, halving Tragoedia's ATK to 1200 (and of course a Token being Summoned). Right now, the ATK gain granted by Tragoedia's Continuous Effect was halved as well. Thanks to this, Tragoedia's Continuous Effect can no longer properly adjust the ATK. If the number of cards in your hand changes, Tragoedia's ATK through its effect will not change so long as it is affected by the halved ATK.
