-When a monster with ? ATK is summoned' date=' say Great Maju for example, and the ATK WILL be greater than 1500, can it be Bottomless? Or will it's ATK be caculated after it's been summoned already?

-People told me that monsters like Sangan/Witch can't bring monsters from your Deck with ? ATK/DEF, so is it true? I thought those kinds of monsters are treated as 0 attackers.

o.0"

-When you're activating Bottomless, the Summon is already successful and ? ATK monsters can be targeted if they would be over 1500.

-That is true. ? ATK is ? ATK, not 0 or anything else. It also means that ? is not higher than any number or lower than any number, so it isn't below 500 for Debris, as an example.

because of this, all ? monsters also dodge all the virus cards that work on the ATK, only plant polutant, the alien virus card.

If you activate the effect of Volcanic Scattershot and then your opponent activates D.D. Crow dose that prevent Volcanic Scattershot's effect from working or dose its effect still work.

The location of your Volcanic Scattershots when resolving will not affect its effect from resolving successfully because where the three Volcanic Scattershots are when the effect resolves is not a requirement for the effect to resolve successfully.

If they don't want their monsters destroyed, they'll want to negate the effect.

Can I discard Assault Beast to Special The Tricky and also add AMA?

No. Discarding Assault Beast is the cost to add AMA, and discarding something is the cost to Special the Tricky. You pay them one at a time. You can't use $1 to pay for a $1 item and another $1 item.

I think part of the difference between LADD and Herald or Horus 8 is that LADD is mandatory, whereas the other two are optional. So, LADD's ruling is that it can only activate once a chain, because otherwise it'd chain to itself, because it automatically activates to any Spell, Trap, or Effect monster. Herald, Horus, and the like can continue to activate so long as they're not up against a Counter Trap and you can pay the cost (Horus conveniently doesn't have a cost).

Lol. I thought the dollar was was a fitting analogy to explain how costs work.

I have a follow-up to the Rai-Oh questions from a while ago

What exactly determines which cards start chains?

I mean, can't Rai-Oh negate Cyber Dragon?

Could it negate Summoner Monk?

and do all cards that chain have immunity from Rai-Oh?

Can it stop Assault Mode Activate?

Or Instant Fusion?

Starlight Road?

Honestly I want to know more so it doesn't seem like I'm cheating when I say Rai-Oh can't negate something.

It can negate CyDra. Not Monk.

It cannot stop AMA, IF, or Starlight.

It can only stop Synchros, contact fusions and monsters than have a 'summoning condition'. Those are CyDra, Machiners Fortress, Judgment Dragon, DAD, (I think The Tricky) and others. If it's "you can summon this card when/by", Rai-Oh can probably negate. Wikia's the best place to check.
