Yu-Gi-Oh! Rulings Questions

wat do u all think would i still be able to special summon machina fortress even if zombie world is on the field i would like more feed back pls

If he is in your hand' date=' he and the other discard are still machines. so its ok.

zombie world only applies to field, graveyard.

Your question was already answered. Zombie World only turns the monsters on the Field and the Graveyard into Zombies. The monsters in your hand are still considered Machines and you can discard them just fine to Special Summon Machina Fortress.

If I summon Phoenixian Cluster Amaryll during the end phase with Red Dragon Archfiend on the field' date=' could I abuse RDA's effect to burn for 8k via PCA or would they each only activate once during the end phase?

[/quote']

Effects like Red Dragon Archfiend's are Trigger effects that activate in response to a particular phase. These effects activate only once during said phase.

While you'll be able to Special Summon Phoenixian Cluster Amaryll during the same End Phase, Red Dragon Archfiend will only activate and resolve once.

**Other stuff I typed out that are kinda unrelated but didn't want to delete**

If said Trigger Effect's activation was negated (usually for rulings regarding Light and Darkness Dragon), then they will activate again. The reason for this is because Effects that trigger due to a particular phase do not directly chain to the entering that phase, but are generally activated in the order of the owner's choosing (if they have more than once), starting all their own chains. If such an activation was negated, then they'd be able to activate again during that phase.

I belive that like 2nd yubel, RDA only checks once per end phase.

unless I'm wrong about yubel, in which case you might be able to.

Q: Just now I was dueling with 2 Cyber Twin Dragons out and my opponent chained Magic Cylinder to an attack...

then I chained Limiter Removal from my hand (sounds retarded, but I didn't kill myself) was I ALLOWED to chain Limiter Removal (a quickplay) from my hand on my turn?

(I heard you could)

yes, you can, though you should have waited until the second attack to lower the damage to yourself.

No. Not from your hand.

yes he can, normal traps and quick plays are equal in speed.

and if you read it, it is his turn, it's perfectly legal.

what are you talking about, limiter can be played in response, though it's not a good idea.

it's a quick play, so it can be activated from the hand on his turn during the battle phase and/or in a chain, which it is.

what is your reasoning for why it can't be?

Werewolfjedi is right. During that player's turn, Quick-Play Spell cards can be activated from the hand at any time where activating a Spell Speed 2 card would be legal. Setting a Quick-Play Spell is only required to play a Quick-Play on an opponent's turn. Quick-Play Spells are Spell Speed 2, and can be chained to the activation of Magic Cylinder. Since it is his turn, he is allowed to activate Limiter Removal from his hand in response to Magic Cylinder. Why he would want to, I have no idea.

What is a team exactly?

two duelests playing in the same game' date=' sharing lifepoints and have the ability to use the monsters the other summons for their plays.

like tributing your partner's treeborn frog.

[/quote']

Alternatively, a group of players who go to a tournament and share information on duelist's Decks and possibly share any prizes/ect.

You can only activate the effect of "Junk Collector" by removing from play a Trap Card like "Sakuretsu Armor" or "Magical Explosion" which has a specific activation timing if the activation timing is correct. Thus' date=' you cannot activate the effect by removing from play "Sakuretsu Armor" other than when your opponent declares an attack, and you cannot activate the effect by removing from play "Magical Explosion" if you have one or more cards in your hand.[8']

Ok, if Magical Explosion can't be activated if you have one or more cards in hand, does this mean that Junk Collector cannot activate Life Equalizer if the LP differance isn't 8k or more?

I couldn't give a definitive answer. Life Equalizer doesn't say that you can "only" activate when that happens, like Sakuretsu Armor or Magical Explosion do.

Then again, it says "Activation Timing"... but Life Equalizer is more of an "Activation Condition" rather than a timing, but maybe they're one in the same in this case <_<;...

If it is in WC2010, maybe someone can try it, I don't have the game :<

Actually, during your turn, you can chain with a quick-play spell from your hand. You just can't use it from your hand during the opponent's turn.

EDIT: Darkwolf and werewolf beat me to it.

One more question.... (and I'm not sure if this one is against the Terms of Use... but....)

What's the cheapest way to get Stardust Dragons?

After doing some calculations on the seemingly legit toadandtroll.com (NOT AN ENDORSEMENT)

Making my Stardust Dragon/Assault Mode deck (minus Plaguespreader Zombie - 40 bucks for one, and Flamvell Firedog - out of stock) runs about $126

But of the whole deck... Stardust Dragons $19.99 each take up HALF that!

So is there a cheaper way to get them?
