I just left WC10 on view mode. When I looked over' date=' a Jain attacked Doomcal, but Doomcal didn't activate and got run over. Can someone explain why that happens to me?

Jain, Lightsworn Paladin's effect which raises its ATK when it attacks is a Continuous Effect. That effect cannot be chained to, so Doomcaliber Knight cannot chain and negate it.

It's Continuous? Nice to know.

I spose this is the right place for this question (im sorry if its not)

But I would like to know if there are any unusual (yet workable) Hybrid decks one can build in Yu-gi-oh 5D's Stardust accelerator World Championship 2009? As I thought it would be interesting for a change to be able to have two different themes in one deck :D

Thank you for reading my question and hope to hear from you soon :D

Scenario

Lumina is attacked by opponent's Glad Beast

Player 1 plays Honest on Lumina.

Can Player 2 negate Honest with their set War Chariot?

Because it is a Counter Trap, you can activate Gladiator Beast War Chariot during the Damage Step. You can activate it to negate the activation of their Honest.

ah ok. thank you for that.

does that work the same for Solemn/ Divine Wrath etc....

Yes, Counter Traps can be activated during the Damage Step.

Divine Wrath would also work in this situation.

Can't say Solemn Judgment would help much against Honest, but say someone activates "Rush Recklessly" during the Damage Step, then you could Solemn it, but you wouldn't be able to activate a Non-Counter Trap, say Imperial Order, to negate it for example.

I am thinking in buying a box of boosters at the end of the month. If everything's as planned' date=' the available options will be: Ancient Prophecy, Stardust Overdrive and Absolute Powerforce. I think the best option would be the third one. What do you guys think?

Wait for TSHD, so it's easy to trade away the bad stuff because it's new.

Can Heraklinos negate Counter Traps?

If he can' date=' is his effect Spell Speed 3?

[/quote']

No, you cannot. Quick Monster Effects, like Heraklinos, are Speed Spell 2.

The only Speed Spell 3 cards are Counter Traps. You can only activate Counter Traps against other Counter Traps.

TSHD will not be available in my country for some months, also, I don't like most of it...
